We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in March/April 2025!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

Overlooking the Chilterns, dating back to 1740 Marquis House was originally a pub. The Barn is where the beer was kept, but now it offers sumptuous accommodation for you to relax. Independent access and self contained for your privacy. The Barn has everything you need including a log burner and 50" TV in the lounge, a hand made King Size bed and an extensive kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine (open the stable door to take in the view). Optional log fired hot tub.

The Swallows is all on the ground floor. It has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a family bathroom, kitchen and living room. The kitchen is spacious with a Rayburn which keeps it cosy when enjoying you meal round the table. There is a wood burner ( you need to provide logs) in the living room with patio doors. It has an enclosed garden with plenty of parking. We are midway between the market towns of Buckingham and Brackley, and close to Silverstone, Bicester, Oxford and Milton Keynes.

We are situated in the pretty rural village of Shabbington, just outside the market town of Thame, and surrounded by the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire countryside. The house is just a short walk from the train station in the medieval market town of Princes Risborough. We have private parking for one car and bicycles are available for the guests to use. The house is ideal for max 4 grown-ups, your pet can be brought on request.
