Family-friendly vacation rentals in Avis

This is a beautiful home with lots of character and the hosts are nothing shy of amazing, they made us feel truly welcomed! Maria was extremely accommodating in helping us arrange transportation to where my brother was having his wedding, she herself drove 8 of my family members to the venue. She also made sure my entire family had breakfast from a local bakery on the day of the wedding which she once again picked up herself. Thank you again Maria,I will recommend your beautiful place to anyone looking for a larger place in a fantastic countryside setting. We will be staying at your place in the near future on our next family gathering.

Gostámos muito da estadia no monte. A casa é super confortável com todas as comodidades. Aproveitámos a piscina e o espaço exterior. O Tiago foi muito prestável e solícito.

Ça mérite 6 étoiles ! Paulo et Susana sont des hôtes formidables, très gentils et bienveillants, ils sont toujours disponible pour vous aider et vous guider dans la région qui est magnifique. La maison est géniale, le jardin et la piscine sont exceptionnels, la vue incroyable. Vous êtes au calme et dans un cadre naturel splendide pour passer des vacances reposantes et vous ressourcer. Obrigado Paulo et Susana pour tout ! On reviendra avec grand plaisir.

Cette location Airbnb était exceptionnelle tant nos hôtes étaient gentils et généreux. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Marthe et Mathieu et avons pu profiter d’une grande piscine, d’un grand logement bien équipé et d’un spa privatif. A 1h de Lisbonne, nous ne nous sommes pas privés d’aller visiter la capitale à deux reprises. Un immense merci à nos hôtes. Il est fort probable que nous reviendrons y passer des vacances.

Zeer ruime woning met aangename terrasjes en een heerlijk zwembad. Carlos en zijn vrouw ontvingen ons met open armen! Ze waren heel vriendelijk en heel flexibel met in- en uitchecken. Een absolute aanrader!

Todo muy bien, el alojamiento es según lo descrito, muy tranquilo lo hemos pasado muy bien, sobre todo los niños ya que tiene buenas instalaciones para jugar en familia.

Las mejores vacaciones que hemos tenido en familia! Gracias a la hospitalidad de Francisco y Filipa y todos la atención al detalle que han tenido durante nuestra estancia, y gracias a una casa absolutamente maravillosa, hemos tenido una de las mejores semanas en familia de siempre. Es la casa perfecta para un grupo de amigos o familiares que quieran disfrutar de una estancia super relajada. Para los niños, la piscina tiene protección a todo alrededor, hay una zona de juegos interior y otra exterior, y todo super seguro, dando los niños total libertad durante toda la estancia. Nosotros hemos buscado esta opción para evitar las playas en este verano marcado por Covid-19 y la verdad es que no queremos otra cosa! Sobre la vivienda, los espacios exteriores e interiores super amplios, con múltiples opciones de espacio para convivio o para relajar, las habitaciones también super amplias, 3 de las cuales son en-suite. La cocina es enorme y super bien equipada, la barbacoa super profesional... El jardín es un verdadero paraíso! Gracias Francisco y Fiipa por proporcionarnos estas vacaciones inolvidables!

Casa e espaço envolvente bastante acolhedor. Espaço muito tranquilo para quem precisa de relaxar / sair da rotina. A visita das ovelhas ao fim do dia era o momebto mais esperado do dia. O Anfitrião foi sempre impecável, e presente quando necessário. Uma palavra de apreço à equipa de limpeza com quem tivemos o privilégio de nos cruzarmos no momento do check out, que foram muito calorosos e acolhedores.

Amazing experience. Not only is the house beautiful, comfortable and charming, but it is extremely well equipped and the land is fantastic. Pedro's messages ahead of our arrival made finding the place easy and seamless. Always quick to comeback with an answer to questions we had and overall very thoughtful. Definitely a place to return to!

Nos ha gustado mucho la casa y el sitio donde se encuentra. Es ideal para desconectar de todo y sumergirte en la naturaleza.

We had a great stay in Jorge’s apartment! It was in a very walkable location, and Jorge gave multiple great suggestions in terms of restaurants and local cuisine. Apartment itself is very clean and cool (which is important as Evora can get quite hot in the summer!)

We were just passing through, and only spent one night at Maria’s place. But we were glad we did ! We had a very warm and personal welcome from Maria and Jose. They showed us around and we had a very friendly conversation. And to top it off : the swimming was great to relax after a full day of travel 🙂. Highly recommend !

Tive uma experiência muito positiva. A casa era muito acolhedora, numa excelente localização. Correu tudo perfeitamente! Quero agradecer em especial ao Sr.Rui e à D.Joaquina, são muito simpáticos e estiveram sempre prontos a ajudar em qualquer situação. Com certeza, irei repetir! :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is a little grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. It was a lovely spot to stay and drive to Fatima and other sites in the area. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the place and they came right away and met us. Would definitely stay again!!

What a great place! Had everything we needed and felt like home. We couldn’t stop talking about how charming it was. And the location was central to everything we did.

We had a great time at Victoria's place. the views are beatiful, the house is very spacious for a big family/group and was very clean. the pool area is also very nice as well as the cinema area. is very well equiped -kitchen utensiles, bbq, linen, etc. the only improvement point, in our opinion, are the size of the double beds, which are a bit small for a couple :) thank you for the good time!

TerraFazBem comprova a sua convicção escrita em seu nome. A terra faz mesmo muito bem e fez-me extremamente bem enquanto lá estive. Jorge e Maria são hosts incríveis, prestativos e com um bom gosto pelas plantas, aromas, decorações e vidas em geral presentes neste espaço. TerraFazBem possui um lindo rio lindo feito das águas Sever e outro rio que flui de paz, alegria, inspiração, gratidão e de pensamentos impecáveis, com leveza. Não vejo a hora de voltar ❤️🙏

We absolutely loved this place, worked perfectly for 2 small children (1 and 4), even levels across, easy access around the property, still maintaining it's rural and beautiful surroundings. Lots to do with children, from walking around the property, to a generous play area (covered) with lots of toys, a washing machine for laundry, and other surprises we didn#t know we would have there. the pool worked well too, and checking out the chickens. the place has 3 dogs that are absolutely adorable, big but super friendly, that can be kept guarded if need be. we and our children absolutely loved all of the experience, including all personnel that came to help us when we needed. when a door lock broke it was fixed on the same day. impressive service!

I only wish that Anabella could hear all the ‘wows!’, gasps of delight and smiles of appreciation for this wonderful property as you walk through the door!! Set in a quiet hillside location, It is just the most beautifully laid out home… modern, yet rustic… simply furnished but oh so comfortable with cosy lighting and quirky touches!! Everything has been catered for and thought about.. it is super well equipped and even provides a juicer for the ample supply of oranges growing on the trees in the garden… such a treat! The house is tastefully decorated with Anabella’s personalised and creative touches. The soft ambient lighting both inside and out elevate this property to another level after dark! We stayed as a family of nine with two little ones.. who adored the pool and loved watching their favourite programmes on the big screen! We ate in every evening, such were the glorious sunset views from the terrace table. Thank you, Anabella, for sharing your beautiful home with us..

Descobrimos essa linda hospedagem de última hora, e foi simplesmente uma das viagens mais deliciosas que tive até o momento! A propriedade é simplesmente incrível... tão incrível que não há nem palavras para descrever! A nossa anfitriã, Veni, foi simplesmente espetacular, sendo sempre muito amigável, gentil e cuidadosa! Recomendaria 1000%, e espero lá voltar

A casa e o exterior eram lindos, conseguimos descansar. Para nós só houve um ponto menos positivo, não sabíamos que a casa dos pais da dona Isabel era literalmente ao lado da casa que alugámos, a separação é um portão, mas mesmo assim existe uma porta que dá acesso a casa alugada, isso retira um pouco a privacidade. Contudo adoramos, e tanto o casal como a dona Isabel, eram super simpáticos e disponíveis

Samen met mijn vrouw, broer en ouders zijn we een week in de Airbnb van Lawrence gebleven en het was echt een hele relaxte week. Communicatie met Lawrence ging soepel, binnenkomst via een sleutelkastje handig, het huis was brandschoon en vooral heel erg ruim, groen en rustig. Alles is aanwezig, er stonden wat lokale lekkernijen bij aankomst en we konden de laatste dag tot 15 ipv 10 uur blijven. Het was de perfecte locatie voor een relaxte week. We hebben veel buiten gezeten, gebarbequed en gezwommen. Het huis is volledig privé en heeft een fenomenaal uitzicht. Eén van de beste airbnbs, een aanrader!
