Serviced apartment vacation rentals in Avcılar

We have used 2 apartments in this property. The owner (Isil) is probably the best host we had over the years. After our arrival, she had almost 2 hours with us, walking around the neighborhood, tell us about its history and suggest us many restaurants and shops. When we had any issue or question, she was there to reply. The one to have in mind is that the building is old and traditional (wooden) which means there is limited soundproof. On the other hand, the neighborhood is quite, beautiful and traditional with all the necessary shops nearby. Distance from the center is 15' using buses & trams which are very frequent & cheap (using Istanbulkart).

Işil is the hostess withe mostess. Honestly, her hospitality is amazing. She coordinated taxis for me, greeted me, gave me a tour of the neighborhood and we chatted into the evening. Meeting her was truly one of the highlights of my trip. I loved her place, it is clean, warm and very well appointed. One day I hope to come back with my husband and see Işil again.

This ground floor apartment ( 1st floor for we Americans) was perfect for my stay. This place was within minutes walking to all the cafes, restaurants and shops. And to the side of the apartment is where everyone goes to take pictures of all the beautiful popular colorful buildings that make Balat so iconic. They film many Turkish Tv Series and films in the area for its old charm. The host was amazing. She gave a me a tour of the village and she definitely knows her history and Balat very well. She will give you the best recommendations of places to eat and coffee shops that serve worldwide award winning coffees. As a coffee lover I appreciated that. The place is a very beautiful unique historical apartment building. Very cozy place for me (solo traveler) to stay. If and when I return to istanbul I will definitely stay at this building again. Next time I want to try the apartment at the very top floor :-).

the apartment was as clean as seen in the pictures. it was warm enough for me in the winter weather, The Host Isil was warm, receptive and kind towards me. (such a sweet and pleasant lady) I felt at home in the apartment and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant , complete place stay. The place is central transportation easy and the residence we stayed in was quite sufficient. We would also like to thank Mr. Şahin for his quick response and necessary information. A place to stay again.

A place with a magnificent view where you can stay with your spouse, friend, relative, and the host is a very helpful person

We really enjoyed the location. Very close to the cafes and restaurants but far enough for peace and quiet. And just up the hill from the Balat tram station for easy access although very walkable to the Helic (metro station) and Galata Bridges.

The hotel is okay, easy to find and near the bridal street in the neighbourhood Fatih. The hotel staff is amazing. The rooms are being cleaned every day. The receptionist Halil is the best receptionist that we’ve had until now. Very helpful with everything that you need. Polite, friendly and respectful. I recommend the place.

I had an amazing stay at this apartment in Fatih, Istanbul! Everything was exactly as expected, matching perfectly with the description and photos. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and located in a very convenient area. What made my experience truly exceptional was the reception team — they took care of all my requests promptly and with great professionalism. I felt truly looked after throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul, and I’d gladly return in the future!

Engin’s place was such a great stay. Engin was 100% great in communication from booking to end-of-stay. The check in procedure was smooth and the kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances! Overall, place was amazingly inviting, clean, and had all amenities needed during my one month stay. Would definitely recommend you Engin’s place!

This place is in Esenyurt. It is the best value for money. Host is very good honest man. price is very reasonable. There are 2 major grocery shops in building and a bakery. Although place is far from istanbul but if you want comfortable place to stay then I would seriously recommendthis place.

Excellent, friendly, professional, and communicative Host. The beach is very close with an excellent restaurant right across the street. Being close to the airport there is air traffic. Much better than the ridiculously overpriced hotel at the airport!

Excellent apartment! Corresponds to the photo and description. Good fast internet, all necessary cooking utensils, heating and hot water. Among the disadvantages: we met cockroaches, far from the center and the views of the bed linen. Host Engin was helpful, quick to answer all questions when there was a problem with the boiler arrived quickly. In general, I recommend it for non-driving tourists!
