The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

This cute house is on a working alternative farm that raises grass-fed beef and lamb. If you want to get away from the busy life, come sit on the porch and watch the sunset. My tween girls loved it. We have never been to the area and wanted to try something new and it was perfect for me and my children it was extremely safe! That was my main concern being alone with two children and it was perfect!!!

As an avid airbnb user, I must admit that this is the most luxurious place I've stayed... and without an ounce pretentiousness. Hosts Gary and Randy couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. Gary even reached out after the end of a long day to offer conversation, but sadly, I had to decline due to said long day. I look forward to staying in this lil oasis again, and to visit more. These guys are truly lovely humans and offer the kind of comfort a solo traveler appreciates.

We loved the setting and enjoyed spending time outside in the carport and at the fire pit. Lots of chairs and games were there. We spent some time at the friendly neighbor’s down the road as well. Internet was good and worked outside as well.
