Cabin vacation rentals in Austvagoy Island

Great place, spotless clean and everything is brand new ! Some disadvantages are that place is really small(bedrooms has no cabinets as there is no space for them) and kitchen is also limited. You can see it from the pictures, though. The upper floor has no door as well. So there are 2 separate bedrooms only. All the rest is great, communication is fast and helpful, view and locations are amazing, hot tub was used every day! Amazing =)

Elisabeth is a perfect host. She is always very fast answering to our questions. We experienced an initial internet provider problem, she got it fixed with the company within minutes while we were doing a first exploration trip at Skrova. She kept us in the loop, role model communication. Also the roabu location close to the center, but last in the street with its own pontoon pier was perfectly suiting our needs (our kajak required such slipping capability). In short: the perfect temporary home with a great host, thank you!

The place was nice, modern and equipped with everything you need. The communication with Henning was great and very accommodating! We were informed and educated about everything. The accommodation is still in the construction area with some construction sites, but that was perfectly fine. The midnight sun shone directly on our hot tub:) 15 minutes from Henningsvær and the nearest shopping.

We were allowed to spend 8 days in Kathrine's beautiful house. The location, tranquility and views are unique. The whole house is very clean and maintained. You immediately feel comfortable, which is why a rainy day is not a problem. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, so you can easily take care of yourself. Particularly noteworthy here are the coffee machine and the Sodastream. The beds are very comfortable and the Stressless armchairs in the living room invite you to relax. The hot tub on the terrace with the great view is phenomenal. Kathrine responds to queries within a short time and also proactively passes on information. So she informed us about the Artic Run taking place, where we had the opportunity to get to know her, which made us very happy. We totally enjoyed the days at Kathrine and Glenn's house and hope we can come back in the winter.

Fantastic stay with stunning surroundings – highly recommended! This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Lofoten and want to be in the heart of it all. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and central. Everything was pristine and in perfect condition—no issues at all. My only suggestion would be regarding the curtains: currently there are three separate panels with four gaps that let in light. During the midnight sun, this allows sunlight to enter the room at night. Adding Velcro to secure them or switching to one or two blackout panels would help. I personally prefer a pitch-dark room for sleeping. Aside from that, everything was excellent—wonderful host, beautiful accommodation, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely return.

Vegard's house is very nice and very quiet. We stayed there for 2 nights. The house was clean. The check-in is easy with a key box. Vegard responds pretty quickly. The highlight was the whirlpool we were able to enjoy. I'll be recommending.

We enjoyed staying there! The area is really very quiet and there is only beautiful nature for miles. The house is very cozy and has everything you need to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the water. Those who appreciate living in a remote location for a while and exploring the Vesterålen are very well taken care of here :)

This house really made us happy! I am almost at a loss for words to describe the beauty of the view. In fact, you could sit in the living room all day and enjoy the magnificent natural spectacle. From the living room we saw sea eagles, ptarmigan and even a stoat. Our wish - and the real reason for our trip - to see the Northern Lights was fulfilled on the very first evening, on the second evening we were offered the very big Northern Lights spectacle, what a gift! In the folder provided, we found excursion tips, including for a fishing tour from Reine. We had an unforgettable day on the TrioII and brought home 8 kg of fresh cod caught by ourselves. The house is very well equipped with plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, the kitchen is complete and we particularly liked the wood-burning stove. An extraordinary place!

This charming cabin is right on a pristine and quiet lake. We loved sitting out on the dock, watching the light change. In the distance there were a few bright red farm houses and cattle grazing on a field nearby. Because of the midnight sun we frequently got up at two or three or four in the morning to look at the changes on the lake. Each hour it looked different and always wonderful. The serenity is just what we were looking for and we found at this cabin. The cabin was well equipped, and had everything. needed to make some meals. Monica is a supreme host. She went out of her way to help out in many ways, for example I needed to ship a box home and she took us to the post place and translated as needed. We would love to come back.

We had a lovely stay in this cozy cabin. It's spacious for two people. We enjoyed walking in the area around the AirBnB. The fireplace made us feel right at home. Everything you need is provided and it was very clean and tidy. Would recommend!

We loved staying in the adorable cabin! The location was perfect, and we loved the way the whole place was decorated. We all wanted to move in!

We have been to many Airbnbs in many different places - and this one is definitely among the best!!! The view from the cabin is simply breathtaking (we were here in May, so we could enjoy the midnight sun ocean view). Everything is super clean and very cozy. The location was perfect for exploring the area between Svolvaer and Leknes.

A great place to go on vacation. Cozy, quiet, surrounded by nature. Unique! The various hikes around the cabin were wonderful.

We were very lucky - we enjoyed mountain hikes in beautiful May weather and this fisherman’s cabin which was such a lovely surprise! It was as it is described and much more. It was very spacious, right on the water, had incredible views and everything we needed. The location was also very convenient - close to everything but a bit away so very romantic. Absolutely recommended, this complete, clean, cozy cabin. The location is perfect if you want to visit the main sights of the Lofoten. Do not hesitate to follow Tom's Tips for interesting and beautiful, but quieter places. Absolutely a very valuable addition to tripadvisor and Lonely Planet, and perhaps the best aspect of this stay. Although… the nice seat outside, the lovely shower, the well-blinded bedroom and Tom's enormously hospitable, pleasant personality also score very high. A wonderful 'home base' during our stay in the Lofoten!

The unique location and tranquility impressed us. Kari was very proactive and provided us with information and tips for excursions. A few snacks were also available for us. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were also allowed to use the small rowing boat. The sauna with panoramic views is great. The camping shower was okay. It is portable and you can also shower outside with it. A higher water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom would be desirable. There, the water comes directly from the stream. Kari & Inge provided drinking water in canisters. For a lonely cottage on the fjord, it is well equipped.

We spent two weeks in Norway and the four nights in this beautiful home and area were the highlight of our trip. It is such a special place and this cosy home is very well equipped. Karin and Arild were delightful and responsive hosts. It was no problem to be greeted and shown around the property, even with our late arrival. The location is stunning and if you appreciate nature, views and hiking, you will be very happy here. The house itself has incredible views and the shared spaces and deck are very well set up to make the most of the location. We hiked up the mountain just down the road, explored the foreshore and used this as a great base to explore the greater area. The house was very well equipped. We even made waffles with the waffle-maker provided! Instructions and interactions with the hosts were clear and easy. I hope we can return one day. I will remember our time forever.

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is so calm, and the views onto the lake never got old. We were here in May and loved watching the light change around the lake and mountains in the distance late into the night. It’s stunning - and such a relaxing place to stay with our family. The house has everything you could need and Tanja is a perfect host. It’s also an excellent position to explore the south, and worth the extra bit of driving for such a peaceful place to stay. I hope we get the chance to come back to the Lofoten Islands, and if we do we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

this place was just wow....panoramic view of the eidsfjord, spotless and cosy interior (the photos do not do it justice) and lots of thoughtful touches around the cabin. We loved fishing in the fjord in the evening. Great stay!
