Cabin vacation rentals in Austvagoy Island

Great place, spotless clean and everything is brand new ! Some disadvantages are that place is really small(bedrooms has no cabinets as there is no space for them) and kitchen is also limited. You can see it from the pictures, though. The upper floor has no door as well. So there are 2 separate bedrooms only. All the rest is great, communication is fast and helpful, view and locations are amazing, hot tub was used every day! Amazing =)

Elisabeth is a perfect host. She is always very fast answering to our questions. We experienced an initial internet provider problem, she got it fixed with the company within minutes while we were doing a first exploration trip at Skrova. She kept us in the loop, role model communication. Also the roabu location close to the center, but last in the street with its own pontoon pier was perfectly suiting our needs (our kajak required such slipping capability). In short: the perfect temporary home with a great host, thank you!

Die Unterkunft war schön, modern unf mit alles ausgestattet was man braucht. Die kommunikation mit Henning war Top und sehr zuvorkommend! Wir wurden über alles informiert und aufgeklärt. Die unterkunft ist noch im aufbaugebiet mit einigen Baustellen, aber das war volkommen in Ordnung. Die Mitternachtssonne hat direkt auf unseren Whirlpool geschonnen:) 15 Minuten von Henningsvær und den nächsten einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Wir durften 8 Tage in Kathrines wunderschönem Haus verbringen. Die Lage, Ruhe und Aussicht sind einmalig. Das ganze Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, weshalb auch ein Regentag kein Problem darstellt. Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, sodass man sich prima selbst versorgen kann. Besonders zu erwähnen sind hier der Kaffeevollautomat sowie der Sodastream. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Stressless Sessel im Wohnzimmer laden zum Relaxen ein. Der Whirlpool auf der Terrasse mit der tollen Aussicht ist phänomathenal. Kathrine reagiert innerhalb kurzer Zeit auf Rückfragen und gibt auch proaktiv Informationen weiter. So hat sie uns über den stattfindenden Artic Run informiert, wo wir die Gelegenheit hatten, sie kennenzulernen, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Wir haben die Tage im Haus von Kathrine und Glenn total genossen und hoffen, dass wir im Winter wiederkommen können.

Superbe logement qui dispose d'une magnifique vue sur le fjord et d'un bain nordique fonctionnel dès notre arrivée. Tout était parfait, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Nous reviendrons sans une once d'hésitation.

Fantastic stay with stunning surroundings – highly recommended! This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Lofoten and want to be in the heart of it all. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and central. Everything was pristine and in perfect condition—no issues at all. My only suggestion would be regarding the curtains: currently there are three separate panels with four gaps that let in light. During the midnight sun, this allows sunlight to enter the room at night. Adding Velcro to secure them or switching to one or two blackout panels would help. I personally prefer a pitch-dark room for sleeping. Aside from that, everything was excellent—wonderful host, beautiful accommodation, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely return.

Das Haus von Vegard ist sehr schön und sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Das Haus war sauber. Der Chek-in einfach mit Schlüsselbox. Vegard gibt ziemlich schnell antwort. Das Highlight war der Whirpool den wir geniessen durtfen. Ich empfehle es weiter.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen! Die Gegend ist wirklich sehr ruhig und es kommt meilenweit nur schöne Natur. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und hat alles was man braucht um zu entspannen und den wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Wasser zu genießen. Wer es schätzt eine zeitlang abgelegen zu leben und die Vesterålen zu erkunden ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben :)

Dieses Haus hat uns wirklich glücklich gemacht! Mir fehlen fast die Worte um die Schönheit der Aussicht zu beschreiben. In der Tat könnte man den ganzen Tag im Wohnzimmer sitzen und das grandiose Naturschauspiel genießen. Vom Wohnzimmer aus haben wir Seeadler, Schneehasen und sogar einen Hermelin gesehen. Unser Wunsch - und der eigentliche Grund unserer Reise - Polarlichter zu sehen, wurde gleich am ersten Abend erfüllt, am zweiten Abend haben wir dann das ganz große Polarlichtspektakel geboten bekommen, was für ein Geschenk! Im bereitgestellten Ordner haben wir Ausflugstips, unter anderem für einen Angeltour von Reine aus gefunden. Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Tag auf der TrioII und haben 8kg frischen, selbst geangelten Kabeljau mit nach Hause gebracht. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit ausreichend gemütlichen Sitzmöbeln im Wohnzimmer, die Küche ist komplett und besonders gut hat uns der Holzofen gefallen. Ein außergewöhnlicher Ort!

Nydelig sted helt ute i havgapet, Lofotveggen neste! Utrolig utsikt ute og inni hytta! Vi fikk se Havørn, Oter, Rev og mange fugler, vi fisket og badet på den nydelig Bø stranda rett ved. Mye å oppleve i nærheten. Hytta hadde alt vi trengte og sengene var gode! Thor var en hjelpsom vert! Bare godt å si om hytta. stedet og han!

This charming cabin is right on a pristine and quiet lake. We loved sitting out on the dock, watching the light change. In the distance there were a few bright red farm houses and cattle grazing on a field nearby. Because of the midnight sun we frequently got up at two or three or four in the morning to look at the changes on the lake. Each hour it looked different and always wonderful. The serenity is just what we were looking for and we found at this cabin. The cabin was well equipped, and had everything. needed to make some meals. Monica is a supreme host. She went out of her way to help out in many ways, for example I needed to ship a box home and she took us to the post place and translated as needed. We would love to come back.

We loved staying in the adorable cabin! The location was perfect, and we loved the way the whole place was decorated. We all wanted to move in!

We had a wonderful stay - the rorbuer was pristine and the views were unbelievable. Upon arriving we actually had someone else in the unit we were supposed to be in but Marta responded right away and let us know we had been upgraded to a unit right next door. The check in was seamless otherwise. Parking is literally right next to the rorbuer. The kitchen was well equipped to the point where we cooked a couple meals there. The mattresses were comfortable and there were blackout curtains for the long summer days. A delicious restaurant is right across the road and a grocery store about 2 km away. Very peaceful stay, would highly recommend.

We have been to many Airbnbs in many different places - and this one is definitely among the best!!! The view from the cabin is simply breathtaking (we were here in May, so we could enjoy the midnight sun ocean view). Everything is super clean and very cozy. The location was perfect for exploring the area between Svolvaer and Leknes.

Ein grossrtiger Ort um Ferien zu machen. Gemütlich, ruhig, inmitten der Natur. Einzigartig! Die verschiedenen Wanderungen rund um die Hütte waren wunderbar.

What perfect little house on a stunning location. The cabin is very cosy and all we whished for. Ginsoya is very beautifull and quiet en from the cabin you have amazing view on the mountains and the sea. It was hard to leave!

Nusfjord est un havre de paix et le rorbu de Cecilie reflète cette ambiance. C’est très calme et la vue sur l’eau est magnifique. Le logement est accessible facilement juste avant les parkings publics et tout est de très bonne qualité. Nous recommandons chaudement.

We were very lucky - we enjoyed mountain hikes in beautiful May weather and this fisherman’s cabin which was such a lovely surprise! It was as it is described and much more. It was very spacious, right on the water, had incredible views and everything we needed. The location was also very convenient - close to everything but a bit away so very romantic. Thank you Fredrik and Caroline for sharing your special place with us!

Le séjour chez Steffy s'est merveilleusement bien passé, la vue est incroyable et les équipements sont modernes. La literie est très confortable et les jeux à disposition ont été très apprécié. Je recommande vivement !

Die einzigartige Lage und Ruhe hat uns begeistert. Kari war sehr proaktiv und hat uns mit Informationen und Tipps für Ausflüge versorgt. Ein paar Snacks standen auch für uns bereit. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch das kleine Ruderboot durften wir nutzen. Die Sauna mit Panoramablick ist super. Die Campingdusche war okay. Sie ist portabel und man kann sich auch draußen damit duschen. Wünschenswert wäre ein größerer Wasserdruck in der Küche und im Bad. Dort kommt das Wasser direkt aus dem Bach. Trinkwasser haben Kari & Inge in Kanistern zur Verfügung gestellt. Für eine einsame Hytte am Fjord ist sie gut ausgestattet.

We spent two weeks in Norway and the four nights in this beautiful home and area were the highlight of our trip. It is such a special place and this cosy home is very well equipped. Karin and Arild were delightful and responsive hosts. It was no problem to be greeted and shown around the property, even with our late arrival. The location is stunning and if you appreciate nature, views and hiking, you will be very happy here. The house itself has incredible views and the shared spaces and deck are very well set up to make the most of the location. We hiked up the mountain just down the road, explored the foreshore and used this as a great base to explore the greater area. The house was very well equipped. We even made waffles with the waffle-maker provided! Instructions and interactions with the hosts were clear and easy. I hope we can return one day. I will remember our time forever.

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is so calm, and the views onto the lake never got old. We were here in May and loved watching the light change around the lake and mountains in the distance late into the night. It’s stunning - and such a relaxing place to stay with our family. The house has everything you could need and Tanja is a perfect host. It’s also an excellent position to explore the south, and worth the extra bit of driving for such a peaceful place to stay. I hope we get the chance to come back to the Lofoten Islands, and if we do we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

nous avons trouvé l endroit merveilleux, paisible et la vue dans les fauteuils juste devant la grande baie vitrée exceptionnelle et reposante Le logement est bien agencé ( manque peut être un lave linge) la salle de bain est complètement rénovée nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison

Wir verbrachten fast zwei Wochen in diesem wunderbaren Haus - es hat viel Charme und ist toll gelegen (auch als Ausgangspunkt für weitere Entdeckungen auf den Lofoten). Das Haus ist zwar alt, jedoch sehr sauber und mit viel Erinnerungsstücken sehr schön eingerichtet. Auch die Betten waren sehr bequem. Vielen Dank für dieses Erlebnis!
