Permanent 50 m2 yurt + mezzanine, 35 m2 south-facing terrace. Shower room, toilet, equipped kitchen, 2*90 bed on mezzanine, 140*190 sofa bed on ground floor, programmable pellet stove. In the village of Niaux at the foot of the eponymous prehistoric cave. 1700 m2 of land, river access, hiking trails. Restaurant 100 m away, Tarascon 3 km away with all amenities. Val de Sos offers an ideal setting to discover the Pyrenees on foot, by bike, mountain bike, canyoning, rafting or by car for the less athletic!

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

All electric comforts, Wi-Fi, TV, fireplace, Plancha, Ideal for GR10 hiking departures, lakes, waterfalls, ski resort, mountain biking, equestrian center, kayaking, relaxation and wellness treatments on site. Located at the top of the mountain pass in Ariége, at the start of many hikes and close to many family activities, this ideally located character cottage will allow you to stay in an idyllic and quiet setting. The Auberge de la Sapinière, located nearby, can accommodate you by reservation. Ideal accommodation for 4 people! You can of course be 6 max thanks to the sofa bed in the living room but of course the comfort will be less.

With its view of the peaks, surrounded by woods and meadows where a small stream flows, it is a great place to recharge and enjoy the pleasure of living in the heart of the secret and wild mountains of Ariège.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to contact me before making or confirming a reservation. Regarding access, the house is at the end of a 7 km track. The first 5 km are suitable for vehicles, and the last 2 km are not suitable for vehicles. So you'll have to walk the last 2 km, about 40 minutes. Guests can park their car safely in a clearing.
