Really lovely little home, felt at home immediately and Helen was an incredible host, really went above and beyond in every way. Thank you so much for having us. House was clean and we arrived to a lovely little welcome hamper which was unexpected. Close to aintree racecourse which is why we went for it and a reasonable price. Only negative with the location is that nothing is easily walk able other than miller and Carter across the road. But if you know where the location is and what you are doing it is located on a lovely little farm. Very good value for money and can’t recommend the host enough - super kind and helpful. Thank you!

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous 2 night stay. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need, very cosy, clean and comfortable with plenty of space for both of us. Lovely outside seating area through the bedroom patio doors where we could appreciate the beauty garden and wildlife. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep! Shower was spot on with instant hot water. Supermarkets (Lidl and Booths) are a short drive away and Deliveroo and Just Eat deliver so there’s lots of choice for take away in case you don’t want to make use of the fab kitchen set up. WiFi was fast and we had no issues with mobile phone signal. The hosts were truly 5 star! They were very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. They kindly let us charge our EV car which was a god send after a 5 1/2 hour drive. The hosts even went the extra mile by offering us a lift to Ormskirk train station so we could get to Aintree Race Course! Highly recommend a stay here! A**

Had a great stay at Katie’s house. The house was very easy to find, Katie provided accurate directions before our arrival and instructions for entry. The house was lovely and warm on arrival with some lovely treats provided, a very kind gesture! Everything in the house was very clean and as described. It was very quiet at nighttime and we all had a brilliant sleep. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we would definitely stay again.
