Oven, cooktop, grilled plus Weber bbq accompanied by a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and lovely comfy bed. The covered deck is the spot to be! So very relaxing. See you on Trip 3! Jeremy’s place is a private, quiet hidden gem not far at all from bustling Auckland city. Suitable for a romantic getaway, the bathroom and spa are key factors in this… You must see it for yourself! The views of the rolling meadows during the day is great and even better at sunrise or sunset. Jeremy and Rae are fantastic hosts, very informative about the surrounding area and just super chill. Thank you so much J + R! You made my partner and I’s getaway that much more special.

A special tranquil gem with lakeside access! A very private and quiet place to ‘just relax’ and recharge. I had a fantastic nights sleep and sat outside in the morning sun enjoying my breakfast. Chloe the Lab popped by to make sure I was all settled in (beautiful). The place is very well set up, well equipped and so very private and relaxing. Thank you Christa & Hank. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful place to stay, we absolutely loved our visit and would have stayed for a week if we could! We were made to feel at home straight away with such kindness, nothing was too much trouble. 100% recommended!

Coming from a busy town, my partner and I wanted a getaway from all the noise and just the busy lifestyle that we have and the chalet was the perfect place for us to stay at and recharge mentally before getting back to reality. The privacy that you get as well as the surrounding of the beautiful nature was a bonus for us too. Definitely would recommend to those that need this kind of getaway or just a peaceful getaway in general. If you get the chance to meet the hosts, Charles and Nikki, they’re very welcoming and lovely people too!

We visited during a bit of a rainstorm, and couldn't have felt more cosy, safe, and warm. Very comfortable and unique getaway. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get off the grid a little bit and live a more simple low-tech (but still comfy) getaway

What a special place to spend a few days in the city. It was a corner of peace surrounded by a mini rainforest that Maureen and Stephan had beautiful curated. They had thought about all the little details, with blankets and a heater as we were going into winter, some supplies of tea, coffee etc, a mini laundry and the icing on the cake was the hot tub. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place! Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Experience! We stayed at a lovely Airbnb and fell in love with the place from the first moment. Everything was clean, organized, and tastefully decorated. The host was kind, responsive to any questions, and made sure we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere was warm and homey. Highly recommended, and we’d be happy to come back again!

Forli Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place to get away from the city and relax. It was peaceful, private and so many thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you very much for having us.

Toscas place Was a very relaxing stay for a weekend away, really quiet, secluded and clean. We weren’t accustomed to using a composting toilet but it wasn’t a big deal. Recommended stay

If your looking for a place near the hot water beach this is the best place for 2pax. Plenty of parking, 5 mins walk to the beach. offers some quiet place and off grid experience.

My husband and I come to Auckland for 9 nights. We quite regret for live here for only 2 nights! We can’t sleep well in CBD’s hotel, but here we can sleep very well for its good surroundings and quietness. The room is full of sunshine when it’s sunny, and pleasant sounds of rain when it’s rainy. Neil and Jill are very friendly, always reply in time! What’s more, they even prepare many daily necessities for the guests. There’s a super lovely and gentle cat named Bella, came to visit us everyday. We both love this room so much! By the way, we put 3 Raffaello ice cream in fridge. We hope the next guests will enjoy them and have a nice trip:)

This airbnb was amazing to stay at! The location was great – very walkable to the grocery stores, beaches, wineries, ferry and bus stops! The views were beautiful and it was hard to leave. I would recommend this to anyone coming to waiheke since this place is in the middle of everything!

A great getaway with wonderful surroundings, trees, birdsong, a waterway nearby, plus only 5 mins drive to Matakana village. The shipping container accommodation was very cool - warm and very comfortable. Even with the crazy Easter weekend weather we had a great weekend away.

This is my first time to the barrier, and I am so glad I chose Jo's place. The space is amazing, right on the beach, and a short walk to the local store and pub. Jo and Pete are available if you need them, and are incredibly hospitable - They'll look after you as much or as little as you need them. The local recommendations were super helpful and I feel like I got the best "barrier experience" you could hope for. Will definitely be back!

Great place to spend a weekend, whether you’re looking to kayak, do a bit of snorkeling or fishing, or just walk along the beach and have a picnic. Will definitely be back in summer or on a sunny winter weekend to do some spearfishing. The accommodation was clean and tidy, Mike was awesome showing us around and what we can do around the area. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay here for a night. The view from the cabin was beautiful and the place was pro age and peaceful . Check in was easy and convenient. The cabin was cosy and well set up with a very comfy bed! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay! The place was very clean, furnishings seemed fairly new, and the cottage was cosy. View from the cottage deck was beautiful- in the early morning, mist shrouded the lower terrain and Waikato river before gradually fading away, with the sun rising behind.The night view was wonderful as well with lots of stars. We ordered a homemade pizza from the hosts and it was absolutely superb. They also spoiled us with a sublime chocolate cake and date pudding. Overall it felt like a lot of thought, effort and passion has gone into this bnb, more than almost all (and maybe even all) the bnbs we've stayed at before. We really recommend this place. And do yourself a favour and don't hesitate to order their food!

Great place to stay, with a good view. The tiny home in general is very well equipped and the breakfast was delicious. Robert was very communicative and flexible with checking in/out. Loved waking up to the animals, so cute. The first thing that caught my eye was how clean the place was! Thanks for a lovely stay.
