We used Stacey’s home as a base for our wedding weekend. It is in a rural location but the home is easy to find. It was neat, clean and had stunning views. The home is fully equipped which came in handy. Stacey is also super responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Sam’s place! The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. We stayed here for our babymoon, and it was absolutely perfect! The incredible views were breathtaking and made our trip so relaxing and memorable. We kept thinking to ourselves how fortunate we were to have the view! Waiheke is awesome and waking up to such stunning scenery each morning so restful. The hosts were so warm and friendly—they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Their communication was excellent from the start, making check-in and planning seamless. They made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views and wonderful hosts, this is the place to be! We can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for making our babymoon unforgettable!

A beautiful spot on a beautiful island. Although I explored the island and did a bunch of activities, I also just sat around for hours to enjoy the view and watch the stars. Hilde is a wonderful host and gave me many recommendations, and saved me by lending me a cap for my hikes in the sun.

Lynne is truly the best host we’ve ever had. She welcomed us with a big smile, warmth, and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. The place is absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views, excellent bedding, and beautiful furniture. Everything was thoughtfully prepared,homemade muffins (they were amazing!), snacks, chocolates, and even asking for our milk and wine preferences! Her hospitality truly went above and beyond. Lynne made sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We left feeling relaxed and really appreciated the care she put into every detail. Fantastic location with direct park access. The most wonderful deck with great views- a joy in summer. Please note: this place doesn’t have an oven or a freezer and the bathroom is tiny, but we managed to make this place our home for a month during renovations. It may not be the ritz but it certainly does have character and a super accommodating host (with the friendliest, loveliest dog- Ziggy is definitely a highlight)

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

We had an amazing stay at David and Sue’s. Everything was as described. Such a spacious yet homely feel with absolutely everything we could want. David was very approachable and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Would love to return

The best airbnb I’ve stayed at (I’ve stayed at a lot). The most beautiful, comfortable, private place, close to everything you need.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

As a group of 8 people we had a great time during summer here. The hosts were of great help when we had some “parking issues” with our trailer - they organized someone to pull us out of a ditch ;-) and that truly saved our vacation. That was amazing. Whatever was missing was quickly organized. Unfortunately an all-year fire ban on GBI meant we were not allowed to use the outdoor fire place, and since the nights get cold quickly we were looking forward to sitting in front of the outdoor fireplace in the evenings, which obviously did not happen. Also, the utility of the massive balcony is close to nil - it was either burning hot or freezing cold out there. In that regard, if you look at this place, consider that what you get is somewhat less than what you might expect from the pictures alone. Despite these drawbacks we would love to come back any time.

We absolutely loved this beautiful historic home and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff were extremely discreet but available if sought out. We were impressed with the access to chickens and consequent fresh eggs, and small vegetable garden. On arrival the home had every set of French doors thrown open. It was airy inviting and thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. The Fitzroy Port area is a little remote from the busier Southern part of the Island but with a rental vehicle this was not a problem,. and there are a number of walks available within the area to not require a vehicle should one use not to hire one. Food is expensive on Great Barrier and it is recommended to stock up and take supplies in a chilli bin with you. There is a store on the Fitzroy wharf which is well stocked however, should you run out of your supplies. The property also has a jetty of its own and can be booked and used to moor your boat should you arrive by sea.

We had a wonderful time here, the villa is peaceful, comfortable and caters for every need. The inside and outdoor spaces are well equipped, spacious and relaxing. Sharlene is a great host who was very helpful and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here, it's a lovely haven close to the sea.

Absolutely loved it stay at Cindy’s place! Communication was great from the start, instructions for the driveway and access to the keys was simple. The house was clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen big fridge and freezer, so many outdoor seating areas as well as a large indoor table and multiple places to just sit and look at the pristine view. Well suited for a group of 10. Beds were all made, linens, towels and pillows were al great. It was so handy having everything provided and ready for us on arrival. With a big storm the night we arrived we had a nice time having dinner at the table, then sitting in the lounge with plenty of seats for us all. The stunning weather the next day meant we could enjoy the amazing outdoor space. Very walkable to Hatfields beach, also to Orewa but we chose to drive there as likely to be picking up groceries! A place we would book again for sure! Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Shivanis place over Easter weekend with a group of friends and our kids. It was perfect as lots of different spaces for everyone to hang out in. The house was fully equipped with anything you would need. Shivani was an amazing host, so responsive and really helpful with anything we needed.

Accommodation was lovely with great views and facilities. Gower and Robyn were very helpful and informative. Would definitely love to stay again next time we visit the island. Thanks! Tenzin and Ivana
