This was the perfect weekend get away for us and our spoodle. The apartment is well presented and in a peacful location . Aprilanne and William are great hosts. They have thought of every detail to make your stay enjoyable, freshly baked bread, home made yogurt and fresh eggs. If you like walking, bird watching and fabulous views then this is the place for you.

Great location and had everything we needed. Ian was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the washing machine and he sent someone out straight away. Would come back for our next stay.

What a stunning property, perched between the trees with beautiful views across the bay. We were treated to an amazing sunset on our walk down to the shore. The accommodation was perfect with everything supplied that you could need. The hosts were very friendly and gave us good tips for places to visit. If we lived here, this would be our go to place - we loved it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Susan’s place was absolutely perfect for us. The location and beautiful, peaceful gardens surrounding the apartment were just stunning. We had the most amazing time and plenty of much needed rest. Thank you so much Susan. We have recommended Nikau apartments to all our friends and family.

We had the best stay and were very sad to leave. House was lovely - really homely and the view was epic. There was so much to explore and it was so nice being able to holiday with our dogs. We’ll definitely be back!

This was absolute heaven, we didn’t want to leave. Beach is an easy walk across the road, the house and garden are stunning. We can’t wait to come back

We loved staying at Kathryn's place. The location is walking distance from Tairua township. The guest book was really helpful and we did the walk around the estuary. We opted to eat at a couple of the food trucks during our stay and the wood fired pizza's were delicious. The Poke bowls from the truck behind the bakery were made from fresh local ingredients and were out of this world. Tairua is easy driving distance to hot water beach which was a great day out and we also took a catamaran tour to cathedral cove. The house was large, clean and homely. We had a mixed group with older family members and a teenager as well as myself and my husband and there was plenty room for all of us. We stayed in the downstairs room which had a bathroom next door so was practically an ensuite. Our teenager opted to stay in the bunk bed room but if a couple had a small child they could stay in the adjoining room and be tucked away from the rest of the house.

The property was welcoming and felt homely. Lloyd was a good host and very helpful during our stay. Property was close to the shops, restaurants and beach which was fantastic for our holiday. I would certainly recommend and would look to stay again when back in New Zealand.

We had the most relaxing wonderful stay. Loved the setting and easy walk along the stream to the ocean. The house is gorgeous. The decorating ideas and detail are awesome. We will be back!

Stayed 2 nights and we wished we stayed longer. Beautiful sitting on the deck chatting with friends overlooking the sea. A beach very close by for a swim. Comfortable beds is always appreciated. We stayed there as we played lawn bowls at Te Puru Thames Coast BC, so this was very convenient for us, would stay there again. very pleased with the

Sophie's place was perfect for a long weekend with our two kids. We loved the easy access to the beach (walkway is just across the street) and the big front lawn to play on. Beds were comfy with nice linen and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need, including a great coffee machine. Baskets of toys and books kept our kids busy. Thanks for a great stay!

Was such a lovely place to stay the night before my wedding! Jared’s place was super clean, the bed in the main room is HUGE and super comfortable! Definitely recommend + super close to town!

This is such a great beach house! Walkable to the beach, has a great vibe indoors and out. Beautiful plants, fun aesthetic, better than anticipated, photos don't do it justice. Betty was super helpful and responsive. Thanks!

Beautiful home in a stunning location. The property is gorgeous and caters for everyone. Communication was easy and timely. Highly recommend staying at the Caboose. You will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed!

What a lovely house!! Beautiful interior and super well equipped. Really well located to either explore the island or simply enjoy the incredible Palm Beach, just a few minutes walk away. We had a fantastic stay, thanks Beth for being so helpful and responsive.

This place was a real home from home , it was spotless, plenty of room for us (2 couples) , very relaxing and great location. Had everything you needed. Rachel was great to meet and the communication was just perfect. Would definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed.
