Vacation rentals with breakfast in Assoro

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Tina and Luigi personally welcomed us and made sure to have everything we needed in the house to not have to worry during the stay. Breakfast food and fresh eggs included! The view of mount Etna is amazing from the house… we really enjoyed our stay!

Our favorite place that we have stayed in Sicily. A retreat from the busy cities but close enough to go and see tourist attractions, the beach and eat wonderful food. We loved sitting quietly and reading as well as walking around the home and of course, the outdoor bbq. Perfect place to eat bbq sunset meals and listen to nature. We felt well cared for, the cottage had everything we needed, recommendations were excellent. Make sure to visit the bakery in Santa Rita! Caltanisetta was also a welcoming and beautiful place. Thank you so much, we hope to return and stay much longer!

The apartment is spacious, very clean and in a good location. Massimiliano was available and friendly and nice little detail: the table was already set for our breakfast, with copious groceries available. Thank you very much!

We loved our stay in Piedimonte Etneo! We particularly appreciated the location of the accommodation, between the sea and the mountains, and the very quiet environment. Giulia's dad, Ignazio, welcomed us very warmly (thank you for the lemons and vegetables from the garden!), thanks also to the dog, Rocky, who was a great playmate for our children. We also loved the excursion to Etna with the guide recommended by Giulia: Giuseppe Valastro. Unforgettable day with a beautiful sunset on the volcano. Grazie mille!!!

Great place. If you are coming for a little bit of true countryside Sicilian life, this could not be better. The town is picturesque, and the apartment is similarly cozy and rustic. Of course it's not filled with 5-star modern furniture, but that would not fit to this town anyways. The view from the bedroom is incredible. I could not have wished for a better place for my stay here.

We loved our stay here! The apartment ist super cozy and very clean and we felt very comfortable here. Roberta was amazing. She was very nice and super accommodating with early check in and late check out. She provided us with lots of snacks and drinks and took the time to give us some great restaurant and sightseeing tips. We definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Catania!

The apartment is beautiful, clean and with everything you need to feel at home. It has a washing machine, which helps a lot. Except always ready, the place has an app with everything you need (how to get there, places to visit, eat, etc.) We would go again.

Great location if you like to walk in the city. It seemed like every time we left the apartment we found an interesting area. The space was comfortable and clean. Also the upper outdoor space is stunning unfortunately the cloud cover/light rain didn’t allow us to enjoy. Francesca arranged indoor parking for €25/day that was one block away. Word of caution is the front door is 71 steps up with luggage. We enjoyed the daily workout. A true city experience!!!

If you like rustic Sicilian flair, this is the place to be. Whoever came up with the idea of building a conservatory with 270-degree panoramic views on the roof terrace: ingenious. We saw Etna erupt comfortably from the rooftop terrace and watched the lava. Better than TV. We had every meal there. The air conditioners make it nice and cool when needed or pump warm air into the apartment. There is a private, closed parking space. The kitchen is adequately equipped. We were there with 2 children. There was one shortcoming: no wine glasses (or we didn't find them). Check-in and check-out were completely hassle-free and individual. Clear recommendation! Thank you for sharing this great apartment with the world.

Absolutely great stay at Antonella’s with my wife and mother. Perfect location to explore Caltagirone from and incredible views of the surrounding countryside. Super responsive host and very, very clean apartment. Would love to stay here in a future trip for more than just one night!

chiara was very proactive with her communication, flexible with arrival and departure times, extremely responsive when we had questions, and went above and beyond with some minor problem-solving. the kitchen is very well-appointed with tons of snacks (including homemade tiramisu!) and cooking essentials, and the balcony has a breathtaking view of pantalica. note that you may have to share common areas with other guests if they book the other bedrooms in the unit. i would definitely recommend staying here when visiting sortino!

Great!! Great apartment in the middle and yet very quiet.

Olga and Vivien were lovely, certainly the best hosts of our trip! Their hospitality is generous, warm, caring. We arrived a little late but were received like queens by Olga and the b*****s of the house. The place is quite amazing, it vibrates strong with lots of animals, plants, quiet, care! Olga cooks like a starry chef and brings a lot of joy and dynamism. Vivien is just as attentive, both are not lacking in humor and kindness:) They are rich in recommendation and experience. They are curious about their guests and take care of themselves as much as their place. They created a Bed & Breakfast in the noble sense of the word! This is a chance to cross their path. Giusy and her family were amazing! I love the location of the peaceful and quiet surrounding. Very easy to reach and safe by car. Giusy gave us a very warm welcome and kind introduction. Home feeling of stay there with a pretty skylight garden featuring air-con. We love the homemade cake served by her. It was our birthday road trip. There are lots of nice restaurant and easy to reach to the volcano tour. Everything is perfect. Even we received daily suggestion of attractions from her. We had a very nice stay for 3 days. Super host indeed! Matteo advised me on the routes to take and was very attentive in every way. Breakfast and bedroom, superb bathroom. A super nice guy and one of the best values for money I've seen in a month in Sicily.
