Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Asphodel-Norwood

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

One of the most incredible stays I’ve ever experienced in Ontario. This cottage is even better in person; beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and absolutely stunning and serene surroundings. Retreat 82 has all the amenities you could ask for and more, and our dog loved every minute of our stay too. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

James' Lakehouse was the perfect getaway. Incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and a gorgeous location with easy access to all PEC has to offer.. The hottub with the view of the lake was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice stay, if we are ever in Port Hope again we will be staying here! Close to downtown, and the place is private and well kept! Would recommend!

Zoka's place felt like a dream. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making it the perfect escape from the demands of adult life-a space where you could simply be, fall in love, and feel alive. It was private, cozy, and filled with charm. And Zoka herself was a truly wonderful person to meet—warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.

We loved our stay! Great location, close drive to food, vineyards, and more. Amazing perk to get access to the Sandbanks pass. Lots of space in the unit as well. We hope to stay again in the future.

Sebastian’s place was absolutely wonderful, my husband and I came for our one year anniversary with no set plans about what we wanted to do in the area. The place was gorgeous, perfect little home away from home, in the mornings we drank our coffees on the front deck watching the butterflies in the garden, and in the evenings the hot tub barn made for a really beautiful evening hangout. Sebastian included a great bulletin board of things to do in the area with a fun ranking system so during the day my husband and I made a little road trip out of the most recommended attractions. I highly recommend the Petroglyph provincial park - it genuinely took our breath away. Thank you Sebastian for such a wonderful stay!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. From the little touches to the overall setup, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. The environment was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming—they truly went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. Their lightning-fast responses made communication effortless and reassuring. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, completely hassle-free. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! It was such a pleasure staying here! Hannah made us feel so at home from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She gave plenty of great recommendations for the area, and even called a nearby restaurant for us to squeeze us in (despite it being fully booked)! The cabin itself was comfortable and well stocked. We especially loved using the wood fire sauna and outdoor shower. We enjoyed the walking trails in the area and hanging out with the chickens. The cherry on top was the maple croissants in the morning and taking home fresh eggs and maple syrup from their farm! 100% would recommend for a weekend getaway.

A couple of things that stood out for us was the abundance of towel racks and hooks in the bathroom as well as dimmers on all of the overhead lights (such a relief from glare!). We would stay here again.

Thanks for the great stay! Incredibly peaceful, very comfortable in its rustic way, and just what I needed from a couple nights away from the city.

Perfect spot to relax and unwind. Loved being steps away from the lake, hot tub, and sauna. Only an 8 minute drive to Lakefield, and about 20 minutes to the Curve Lake First Nations reserve. Hosts recommended a nice farm-to-table spot that we really enjoyed (The Cheeky Duck). The Nook was just what we needed and I happily recommend it to anyone looking to disconnect and kick back for a little while!

We had a great time staying at the cabin this past weekend. The setting was peaceful and rustic, surrounded by beautiful farmland — a perfect place to unwind. We really enjoyed the fishing and the slower pace.

Could not be happier with our stay. Everything was exactly how it looked and communication with Jasmine was effortless, She also let us check in early with our 2 year old wish was great. Great place to stay, highly recommend.
