Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Aso District

A truly magical place in a magical area. We loved everything about this home and the owners went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed, including making dinner reservations for us. Highly recommend.

I stayed with two dogs.It was a very clean and comfortable room.Since check-in was completely online and I didn't see anyone at all until I checked out, so I appreciated the stress-free stay with the dogs I knew.

We had a lovely stay end of March 2025. This is by far my favorite BNB in the whole wide world! Everything was so well equipped, even has cleansing oil and sanity pads for forgetful humans like me. Owner has beautiful potteries, long list of amenities supply, video games, guitar, and a big table with heater and blanket in the living room. Towels and linens were super clean, the whole place was squeaky clean! Super comfortable to stay in. The beautifully decorated sake area was amazing! We will come back with more friends and family next time! Best of all, it is dog friendly!!! My dog Melly loved it here 🤎

I was able to stay comfortably because I felt like I was visiting a friend's house. Thank you for letting us spend the night enjoying the peace in the forest without any inconvenience.

I didn't feel any inconvenience because it had everything. We had fun singing karaoke, and the big bath was the best. The owner was also a very kind person, and they responded to questions smoothly and were very reliable.

I visited around Aso Mountain to ride a bike with my co-workers. I’m sure that the location of the accommodation was the best. After riding, I visited a nearby hot spring, relaxed, bought food from a mart, and ate using the cooking utensils prepared in the accommodation. Everything was prepared for the meal. In addition, there was a washing machine and a drying rack for the sweaty laundry after working out. It's a pity that I couldn't use the firewood and brazier outside. I would like to recommend it to tourists preparing for a bike trip. There is only one drawback. The chicken raised in another house near the accommodation cried at dawn like an alarm. Intentionally, I woke up at dawn. I think it can’t be helped handle this.

Peaceful and refreshing stay at Jonathan's for our small family! The cabin has a lot of charm and is well equipped for a few days. Our kids loved the chickens and sleeping on futons 😉 Jonathan is very nice and accommodating, thank you so much!!!

Great place for a family to stay, well-equipped and tidy.The changing room is equipped with a heater, which is very much appreciated for those traveling with children. The Host responded quickly and the whole experience was great.You can also see the beautiful starry sky of Aso.

Had a wonderful stay at this place. Close enough to Kurokawa Onsen, while still being private up the hill, provided for a cozy close to nature feel during my stay. Waking up sound of the little river behind the house gently flowing and having a coffee outside under the leafs made for a wonderful start into the day. The bed with the fluffy duvet was perfectly warm during cold nights. Can only recommend this place!
