Monthly Rentals in Askeaton

We had a great stay Bríd’s house. Bríd met us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly. The house is exactly as described and pictured. It is very spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and had everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable. Foynes is a lovely village, with plenty of amenities within walking distance. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return to Bríd’s again in the near future.

This country cottage is beautiful, comfy and cozy. Upon driving in the first time, you may wonder where you are going as you are on a cow path leading to this cute little cottage. You may pass cows in the pasture or chickens running around; definitely a working farm. Donagh was very responsive to any questions or needs. Our stay was in December, and he brought us an electric heater until the comfy heat came up through the floor. We were also greeted with some thoughtful little treats. The town of Askeaton is small with a grocery store and gas station. You will definitely need a car to sightsee or go out to a restaurant. We traveled about two hours each day to get to sigths we wanted to see. If you are looking for a glimpse at farmlife in a very comfy, cute cottage, you will enjoy Donagh's rental. Thank you, Donagh, for four comfortable and enjoyable days.

Olive and Liam were very friendly and welcoming. The guest house is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. The village is a short walk where you can get food. We enjoyed Clancy's bar for a drink. Olive brought us fresh, warm scones for breakfast, which was a treat.
