Monthly Rentals in Ashland

We arrived in snow and very high winds, making visibility a challenge. Fortunately, the pictures of the apartment made it very easy to recognize from the main street. The lock box was easy to open, so we were able to get in the door quickly. The apartment is very new and clean looking. The bed was very comfortable, but you'd probably want to bring your own pillows. We found that the kitchen was very lightly outfitted for cooking in, but was perfectly adequate for breakfast and lunch. Fortunately there is an Ingles and Walmart really close by for groceries. The restaurants and shops are an easy walk away.

Our stay was peaceful and serene, despite the dreary weather most days. Our kids especially enjoyed caring for all of the friendly animals and playing in the creek. We all loved climbing the tallest hill for the best view and pretending we were in a scene from sound of music. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. There was even a small sewing kit available in the bathroom that my wife used to repair a beloved stuffie for our four year old. The space was the perfect size for our family of six, with kids ranging infant-7yo. The location was perfect and accessible with our mini van and close to family in the area. We hope to stay here again someday!

Believe it or not the photos do not do it justice. The property is serene, private and magical. The home has all of the modern amenities in a cute and cozy cabin. Squeaky clean spaces, well decorated and they thought of Everything!!! Even had dog blankets and dog shampoo!! We plan to reserve this spot again next year! We saw a deer and a wild turkey right in the front yard. We had a blast sitting by the campfire right outside the home! Our dogs loved it and we feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Excellent stay! A lovely location - quiet and peaceful but an easy drive into Lansing! The cottage was perfectly clean and very much like home. We especially enjoyed the kitchen and front porch swing. The bed was comfy too! Beautiful yard and views. The host was super nice and helpful. This will be our first choice when we are back in this area!
