We had a lovely time at the lodge. It was perfect and it met all of our needs. The lodge felt very homely and you can tell that there has been a lot of thought that’s gone into making sure that the space is fully equipped. It’s also very clean and well decorated and fully furnished. Corrina is definitely a super-host. I stayed there with my partner and child. They both had a great time. We were fortunate that the weather was nice so we were able to make the most of the pretty garden. The location isn’t too far from the beaches and other attractions. Yep, we’ll definitely be back soon.

What an amazing weekend we spent at Nick’s place! Thank you for hosting us and we would 100% recommend it to people and would love to come back when the opportunity presents itself! Lovely house in a beautiful location, what a gem - we were pleasantly surprised. Got lucky with the weather too, had the best time. Our daughter loved playing with the toys and learned how to swim in the pool. Thank you again!

I stayed here with my wider family and dogs and it was perfect for a group of our size over the Easter weekend! Great for hosting, and not so perfect that you worry about breaking everything! Felt very homely and lovely - shame we were too early to use the pool!!

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay at Jane’s beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a real highlight, and we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of it next time. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but Jane was incredibly understanding and kind about our situation. She was a fantastic host throughout—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. A special thank you for the delicious-looking marmalade waiting for us on arrival! We can’t wait to enjoy it at breakfast. Highly recommend Jane’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely escape. We hope to return soon!

Trinity Cottage is such a lovely place to stay! The amenities are luxurious from the bed linen to the sofas to the jacuzzi bath. The pool is fantastic and a lovely area to be around and the wild meadow was loved by our kids and dog. They enjoyed running round it so much! For a young family with a dog it was such an idyllic, quiet and private stay and a great base to visit some of the sites across Kent!

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Shareen’s little spot was perfect for our family over night stay! We were off the zoo the day after and it was a great location for us! Very quiet and cosy! Looking at coming back down in November/December already!

We had a great stay at Frances' place. It was perfectly clean, had virtually everything you need, very comfortable, I can't think of a bad thing to say about the place it was pretty much perfect. We would come back without hesitation, Frances is very welcoming, reacts quickly to all messages and is very discreet.

I had a great stay at Kelly's house and in fact extended by an extra two days!! Very comfortable house and very warm which was handy as the weather was very cold!! All the furniture was comfortable especially the bed and I slept really well I would definitely stay here again when I am next in the area!!

We stayed with our 8 month old baby for a week and it was ideal- didn’t hear the church bells as I was worried about that waking him in the night but it’s the perfect peaceful retreat.

Good location, near to Waitrose and ashford town. Good size house and parking a bonus.

We stayed here for one night before a morning journey on the EuroTunnel. About 10mins drive from the EuroTunnel terminal makes this place ideal. The home was spotless. Two double beds which were comfy and clean. A perfectly clean bathroom too. With the local shop up the road making it very handy for a coffee or quick bits of bread / milk it was ideal. Only down side for us was we were travelling with two young children, so wanted an early night. The pub next door was quite noisy despite it being a mid-week. The neighbouring property also started with loud music from around 8.30-9.30pm. This was very audible through the traditional construction of this home. Not the hosts fault but thought it was worth noting for future guests who may also be seeking a peaceful early night with kids. Bonus points to Kate though for the cosy home and free travel cot in the cupboard which saved us lugging ours inside from the car. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a lovely stay when visiting the area for a friend’s wedding - a beautiful property, very well stocked kitchen and tastefully decorated. Host Andy was really responsive and friendly.

What a wonderful week we had, beautiful home that we didnt want to leave. Comfy beds and had everything we needed. The host was really good with communication and the listing described the place beautifully. The gardens were stunning and the white rose on the driveway smelt divine! We left feeling incredibly relaxed. The log burner was beautiful in the evening when the weather turned a little. The local area is lovely for going for walks and the pub down the road is full of really lovely people and regular live music. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Mark xx

The Smithy could not be more beautiful or more comfortable. It is the prettiest little house with a window box overflowing with petunias in the prettiest little English country square you could imagine (like something Disney would make up but better) with the ‘big house’ through the gates at one end of the square and a picture perfect church and pub the other end. The beds are huge and so comfortable. The garden is perfect for eating and sitting out in and I loved the kitchen which took me back in time to simpler, happy times (although please don’t get the wrong idea, everything is modern, clean, works and is up to date!). It just has a lovely nostalgic feel to it, perhaps because it reminded me of happy childhood times in my grandmother’s house, sitting at the kitchen table. I spent one afternoon cooking in it and feeling really relaxed ‘at home’ in a way that it isn’t always possible to feel at home! My husband and our Canadian cousins walked to Canterbury along the Pilgrims Way.

The perfect place to stay for a weekend of father, daughter adventures. Sue and husband Wilf were the perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming and available for any help if needed. Property is just as described, some road noise from the main road but nothing that bothered us, lots of animals to say hello to every day including 2 lovely dogs who loved a good scratch. A few essentials to keep us going, and fresh eggs from the free range chickens!

A lovely little house in a quiet area, great nights sleep as no street noise and really comfortable beds. Free parking in the street outside. Clean and comfortable place to stay. We only used the two bedrooms, the sofa bed in front room would have been a tight squeeze, but not a problem. Would recommend.

Our trip was perfect. The accommodation is spotless, well looked after and really modern. It has absolutely everything you need and all the small details have been thought of. It is in a beautiful and quiet location and the hot tub was lovely. Communication with the host was perfect - instructions were super clear and included helpful videos. We were even offered late check out which was so appreciated. Would absolutely recommend and we’d love to come back.

We had such a special time staying here for our anniversary, it was in such a beautiful location that was perfect for a peaceful getaway, the hot tub located in a lit up clearing surrounded by woodland was incredible and the cabin itself was a pleasure to stay in, a modern but natural feeling that smelled incredible! A perfect place for a weekend away. The space was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated, every little detail carefully considered to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere such as the beautiful fireplace located in the living room. Is you’re truly looking for a peaceful getaway where you can unwind and reconnect with nature, look no further. The host- demonstrated excellent communication and was very respectful, helpful and kind throughout our stay.

Kathy's bungalow is absolutely amazing. Such a peaceful retreat and just what we needed as a break from our busy lives. Kathy is a brilliant host, responsive and providing lots of useful information. The gardens are beautiful and the bungalow is spacious, clean and well equipped. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Kathy, we will be back.
