Also, Cécile left a pouch with several recommendations for hikes, walks, restaurants which is very nice. Finally, she was always available and very accommodating! Recommended ++++

Located in a quiet area with stunning views and, what's more, adjacent to one of the best restaurants in the valley, we are delighted with our stay. The cottage is very nice, warm and very functional. Claire is a remarkable host for her kindness, hiking and gastronomic advice and her benevolence. This is a property we're sure to come back to! This is a lovely place to stay - matches the photos, great base for exploring the Vallee d'Ossau and area. Christophe was an extremely helpful and responsive host, and helped with local guides/suggestions. Just a couple of things to note: the hot tub is great, but can take up to 24 hours to heat up, so if you want to use it on your first evening (as we did) good to request that before you arrive. Also, the gite's bedroom is by a mill stream - the noise is present but fairly constant, however on the first few nights I needed ear plugs to drown it out. Otherwise the garden - pond - hammock - hot tub is utterly delightful and I highly recommend for a place to unwind and a base to explore from.

A very comfortable house in a very quiet village. Parking at the door. It's ideal to have it as a base to get to know that area of the Pyrenees. I'd come back without hesitation.

The apartment was absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend this apartment. It is in a wonderful location. It is somewhat difficult to access and you need the assistance of the hosts if you have a car. This is because many of the residential roads are blocked off unless you have a pass. . The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating. Again, I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Antje was super friendly. Beautiful apartment in the middle of the historic part of the city. the apartment is well equiped with a nice terrace over a beautiful garden. we even got fresh homebaked cookies when arriving. Thanks a lot Antje for being a great host!

Gabriel's apartment is just perfect for visiting the Ossau Valley and, by driving a little, the Aspe Valley :) Gabriel advised us what to do and communication was very easy with him. The apartment has everything you need to eat, nothing to say, I recommend it! Nevertheless, a small point of attention, the presence of sheep just opposite brings its share of flies, the apartment has mosquito nets for this purpose ;) (Yes, we are in a valley that produces sheep's cheese, which I also recommend!)

We had a particularly pleasant week in Marion's beautiful apartment. Michèle and her husband's welcome was perfect, we were able to arrive earlier than expected, which was very useful for us when we arrived on a Sunday morning. I would recommend this apartment, which is among the most remarkable we have occupied. This is a place to remember for a future stay in this beautiful city of Pau.

We had a great stay at Francis' place in Cauterets. The apartment is situated just outside of Cauterets centre (abut 10-15 min walk). This is clearly a 'ski resort' and we were there out of season so everything was very quiet with a number of shops closed, which suited us as we were looking for a quiet 'get-away'. We found it to be a good base from which to visit the most popular and interesting places in the area such as Foret de la Vallee-de-Saint-Savin, Lac du Gaube, Lourdes, Gavarnie and Col du Tourmalet, all of which are well worth a visit. Some truly spectacular scenery! We were there in May and were fortunate with the weather, a little rain, but some fabulous sunny days to see this spectacular scenery. The apartment itself was very clean, warm and comfortable. Francis lives downstairs, so was always available with help and advice should it be required. A very friendly and amenable host!

Small Airbnb but more than enough for a few days, really enjoyed staying there. No noise from outside, great location and bed was super comfy.

Hello. The apartment is very functional and well-equipped. The building and the neighborhood are quiet. The apartment is in a very good location and the city center is within walking distance. The instructions were very clear. The apartment matches the description and photos in every way. Michel is easily reachable and very cordial. Pau is a very pleasant, lively and dynamic city. Had a great stay. Recommended.

Working on the move, this home is one of the few that is impeccably clean!!! I insist on impeccable!!! Responsive host, clear check-in instructions, even unloading the car is done well! Go there without so much as a second thought 👍
