Monthly Rentals in Arthur's Pass

Great little bach for the weekend. Kids loved it. If you've got a young family, bring toys and don't bother with a pram as most of the walks in the area have steps anyway; there's a bath and the shower head is working really well too; fireplace has no fire surround but our 2 and 1/2 year old and our son who is autistic were fine without the fire guard; lots of boardgames and an amazing array of info in a clearfile giving details about walks that can be done in the area. Kitchen has all you need (we were weird and decided to make pizza and there was no rolling pin, but that is such a niche kitchen object and was easily substituted for a glass that it really doesn't matter), and there was space in the master bedroom for a portacot. When I looked at the pics online I was worried the bunkroom might be too far away from us at night for my son to sleep in, but actually he wasn't at all. A great place to stay and very easy to clean at the end! :)

A great escape! The hut is truely secluded and peaceful and has been lovingly restored. Would recommend to anyone looking at an off grid getaway.

Perfect accommodation for our stay in Arthurs Pass. Walking distance to many of the great hikes in the area, as well as the local cafes. Comfortable beds, full kitchen and utensils and a lovely log burner for the cooler weather. We really enjoyed staying here.
