The true luxury is the incredible view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area, especially from the very nice living room. The pool area is also great and the warm hot tub was very welcome in November. Good location, quiet surroundings, about 5 min above Brissago, where there are restaurants and a beautiful lake promenade! Total enjoyed our stay!

The setting of Casa Cattaneo is so very beautiful The light is exceptional making the sunrise and sunsets something to look forward to every day. The house is a beautiful example of modernism at its finest. Whilst some amenities are less comfortable today the house offers an exceptional way to experience the local setting exceptional view of lake Maggiore and the culinary delights of the area.

We came just for a short getaway and this was perfect - even though we had some rainy days still we could find options to go and see nearby. The location of the house is charming and very well manageable by car (of course stick with a compact car, as usual in Italy .. roads can be tricky). Simona greeted us with some groceries prepared so we could have the first morning started with coffee and breakfast, also we got great advice on getting around by foot, explore the nearby little cities. With a smaller kid and two teenagers we could easily find the place comfortable and spent a great few days exploring the nature, driving around for sights and eating a lot -- some of the restaurants in the area are surprisingly good, with the one in the village being a great find itself.

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

A cute older cottage with a wonderful view. Early in the morning, the sun shone into the bedroom and living/dining room. Andrea was always available for us and very friendly. We would come back.

Thanks to Chiara and her mom for their warm welcome and for all the little touches left in the accommodation. A beautiful home but be careful as it's located in the mountains with a very narrow access road, complicated for big cars. But beautiful lake view.

This was our third stay at Villa Leone. The villa is wonderfully located a few minutes walk to a lovely swimming spot and the snack bar which is our favourite restaurant in the area. The villa had everything we needed for our stay and was perfectly clean.

We stayed for a week and had a great time. The Villa is up a decent hill about 10-15 min walk from the ferry stop and main street but very doable. Renato and Sara were very flexible and easy to get in touch with. The house was clean and ready early for our arrival.

Great place for group of 7 (four adults and three kids). Backyard was great for the kids. Grocery store right around the corner. Neighborhood is close enough to St Marks Square to be convenient but also feels away from the crowds

Sensational location, very large property, great pool. We thoroughly enjoyed it at Andrea's and are completely satisfied!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We are a family of 5 and absolutely loved staying in Pierina's Airbnb. The place was clean, beautifully situated write at the lake, and we felt very welcome. We would definitely come back - can recommend!

We spent 4 nights in Valerio's home. The house is very large , we were 2 families, so the two independent accommodations were very convenient. The house is close to the center of Cernobbio 10 minutes walk. Charming village . It's easy to take the boat to visit the towns around the lake. The view from the house is nice. Small downside for parking: we had a 9-seater vehicle and it was very difficult to get into the driveway (narrow gate width) and turn around. Another thing to review: many broken furniture: the sofa bed in the living room has one foot less and was held with a stack of books, also broken bed slats and chairs too. Outdoor furniture would have been nice because you had to take the table out of the inside to put it outside. As well as a few outdoor chairs to enjoy the park and the shade would be more. We recommend this property for a stay in Como

Our stay at Villa Rina, was a very special experience for me and my family! The amenities are excellent, Everything your heart desires is there. Super sorted, organized and clean. Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

great location, magnificent views over Lago Maggiore, the pool is excellent, you can stay an entire day at the Villa and do nothing. the kitchen is a bit basic for cooking and inside is a bit less elegant. Also there was some dust under the bed and wardrobes. The main disadvantage is there are no blinds or shutters in any of the bedrooms and in summer it gets hot during the day and bright at 6 o'clock in the morning.

We stayed one night to be able to celebrate my son's birthday as a family and it was the best choice! House divided well in its spaces, cozy garden and with the right lights, the table was not in the direct sun. Easy access and Simone is super available. It's highly recommended for me as a place to stay 🔝

The place is in a beautiful setting with a million dollar view of the lake. Fiona was very helpful in directing us to the house and walking us through all its features. It is well appointed with high end appliances. The driveway is very steep with a turnstile at the bottom. We had two cars so it was challenging but manageable.

The listing is very accurate, and the home was fantastic in a great location with a spectacular view. For a very reasonable charge, the pool was heated which made a big difference when the weather was cooler than hoped for. We were a family of 6, and there was plenty of space. Every detail seemed to have been thought through very well. We couldn’t have been happier!

House is high up. Up the streets are very curvy and narrow. But if you can enjoy the view, you are speechless. House is pure luxury. It was a very nice experience and we would be happy to come back.
