The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Hier kann man in aller Ruhe alle Relaxen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Restaurants, Kaffees, Bars und Galerien sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. In die historische Altstadt ist man zu Fuß gemütlich in 20 Minuten gelaufen oder Drei Stationen mit der Tram gefahren.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor, within walking distance of Pillnitz Castle and the Elbe. There is enough space for up to 7 people. The spacious living-dining room invites you to linger. There is a balcony. The bathroom is equipped with a shower tub, and there are three bedrooms with one double bed each. Bed linen and towels provided. In addition, you benefit from an excellent connection to Saxon Switzerland.

Public transport, such as train and bus, are within walking distance and take you directly to the old, Baroque city center of Dresden with its historical sights, but also to Saxon Switzerland, Moritzburg or one of the many other highlights in the area. Close to shops, restaurants and doctors.

The Koboldhütte is a modern renovated apartment in a house from 1750. The ceiling height is, as was customary at the time, about 2 meters! If you have any questions, queries or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us personally. We live on the same property. Our front door is under the rear balcony.
