House vacation rentals in Arnold

Absolutely perfect late winter stay! We ventured up to Strawberry/Pinecrest based on fellow parent recs. Lara and Ryan’s place couldn’t be more perfectly situated, 10min from both Dodge Ridge and Leland Snowplay. Plus the property is next to a general store (with friendly owners) and across the street from a hotel restaurant. The space itself is ideal. A remodel that’s exquisitely done with well executed finishes. We cooked in the space and had everything we needed.

This was our second time staying at Bryan's home, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed, making it feel just like home. Bryan was great with communication, reaching out early to inform us about some scheduled work in the neighborhood well before it started, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

Great place for families and groups! The house is huge and there are tons of toys for kids to play with. Very clean and the host responded quickly to any questions.

We had a great stay, with two families and really enjoyed this cabin, which was exactly as pictured, every square inch of space was used well The bar around the kitchen was great for adults to hang out while someone was cooking. Our two boys loved sleeping in the loft upstairs and built an epic pillow fort around the reading nook. We hadn't realized that the downstairs bathroom was not only ensuite from one king bedroom, but also a 'Jack and Jill' setup from the other hallway with queen and king. That was a pleasant surprise because that meant no one had to climb the stairs to use their bathroom! All in all a great stay -- definitely enough room for 2-3 couples, with 4 twin beds in the loft upstairs for kids.

We enjoyed our third stay at Andrew's place in Pioneer and our first winter stay. Even though the property is part way up into the mountains, it was still a pleasant temperature. That said, we were about 30 minutes from the closest Sno-Park, where we could enjoy some snow play. As usual, the house was clean and well stocked on everything we could need with plenty of stuff to do inside.

One-of-a-kind home (two of a kind, I guess, if you count the CO version) made an unforgettable experience for our family (5 adults, 3 kids and 2 pups)!! Thoughtful consideration seeped in every nook and cranny! 1) brilliant open layout strikes perfect balance between having a corner/plenty of room for everyone, yet still with a lovely sense of togetherness; 2) exceptionally well-equipped and spacious kitchen; 3) play closet with enough toys and board games to keep our 2yo toddler and pre-teen girls equally entertained; 4) winter gear to borrow -- sleds, snowshoes, etc. -- kids spent hours playing in the hill across the street (within sight from the cabin). In terms of virtually every amenity -- from quality kitchenware, comfy beds, toiletries, extra blankets, towels, spare friggin' batteries -- the Chesa Madrisa was a couple notches above what one should be able to reasonably expect from a vacation rental! Hillary was an absolute joy to communicate -- we can't wait to be back!

This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dog friendly cabin in Arnold.

Jennifer's place was fantastic. Close to everything in Arnold, but also far enough from main roads that it felt like you were out in the woods and having a relaxing time. The house was spacious for a 4 family trip and we had a great time. The kitchen and dining room were very easy to cook with many people in the kitchen and a lot of space for everyone to eat together. Would definitely recommend staying at her place!

Staying here at this mountaintop with the panoramic views were absolutely stunning Waking up to beautiful view and watching the sun set over the valley was pure magic. The peace and stillness made it feel like a retreat from the world. The home was clean, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay after long hikes. We loved sitting out in the beautiful patio where hot tub was our personal fav, soaking in the scenery, star gazing and fresh mountain air. Despite being remote, the directions were clear and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to disconnect from city chaos.

This place wasn’t over stated or understated, it had a very welcoming feel. It had very timely decor and very comfortable for us , as a family of four to stay in. (My young son wasn’t afraid to sleep in the spare bedroom by himself) 😃The cabin had board games, books and the hot tub was a big plus for us. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen to date for any airbnb I had to stay in. Set up was just like my kitchen at home so it made this home cook very happy because I didn’t have go, “Shoot, I wish I had brought this!” Short drive to Bear Valley for some snow fun. Overall very happy to have picked this cabin for our little family vacation.

My wife and I loved our stay here!! The interior was beautifully decorated and filled with high end items from the comforters and pillows to the kitchen knives and cookware. It made our stay feel luxurious up in the mountains. Then, the whole reason we chose this cabin, the wood-fired hot tub was an absolute delight and has ruined all other hot tubs for us. Nothing like hearing the fire crackling as it heats up the water for you. We loved the abundance of towels, the old CRT tv upstairs (we brought our N64), and the overall cozy feel of the cabin. There are some houses nearby, but most are hidden from view and you still feel very secluded. Well worth the 8hr trip for this beautiful place.

The house is spacious & comfortable with plenty of areas to gather & sleep. The kitchen is perfect for prepping & planning family meals. With Top Of The World, Cougar Rock, & The Falls trails just steps away from the front door, allows for wonderful hikes with gorgeous scenery. Not to mention, lakes near by, Sequouia Woods Country Club pool, and Murphy's for shopping & eating out. We have rented this house twice now & our family has had the best of times with memories to last a lifetime.

Very comfortable home in Murphys -- with great access to downtown and hikes at Big Trees. Jennifer was very responsive and provided great tips on things to enjoy in the area.

Excellent stay in a clean, well-equipped home We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—the place was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. One minor quibble: the coffee maker was tiny and could only brew two cups at a time, which was a bit inconvenient for our group. The location is fantastic—just about an hour’s drive to Yosemite National Park, making it an ideal base for exploring. The community was undergoing construction, and some roads were closed during our visit. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes to enter and pay the $50 entrance fee, which was frustrating. It’s worth asking the host for an update on access or checking ahead before booking.

Jeff and Gina were great hosts. Responsive and friendly. Close to Yosemite. The kids loved the game room, beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need.

Our family is so happy to be staying at Tanya’s house! It’s just a 5-minute walk to Pine Mountain Lake, and we’re also able to use the swimming pool, which is a great bonus. The only issue we noticed is that most of the non-stick frying pans are with scratches and can’t really be used anymore. Other than that, the house is great and we’re all really enjoying our time here. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

we loved our at Belinda, we had a raining so had an evening just hanging out,it was very comfortable, looking farward to staying again when we can sit on the beautiful porch and use the hot tub. Paulette and Ed

We had a great stay at Connie’s cabin. Our trip was two couples, each with a toddler. The space was very well set up to allow us to put each kid down and still have board game nights after they were asleep. The cabin had a very lived in and homey vibe - which is what we were looking for! You could definitely tell the family has gotten lots of great use out of the house over the years!

A Perfect Getaway at Happy Hollow! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Happy Hollow in Murphys, California, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth by the owner who had come by to make a repair. The property is well maintained and offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, making it easy to prepare meals. We especially loved the outdoor space, complete with a lovely patio and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee, yard games and evening relaxation. Location-wise, Happy Hollow is conveniently situated near local wineries and charming shops in Murphys. We took advantage of the walk ability and never got in our car through the weekend. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating.
