This cabin was exactly as pictured, and exactly what my husband and I were looking for to have an escape from work. We enjoyed the firepit (David had wood and kindling at the ready), lounge chairs, and eating outdoors. We love birding, and our bird app identified dozens of species around the property. The place was sparkling clean. We enjoyed the windows surrounding the space, and spent time reading and watching movies on the Smart TV. WiFi was more than adequate. If you forget something, there is a Dollar General Market just down the road. There was produce, along with plenty of grocery items. We went to the George Washington Carver National Memorial and walking trail, which we both loved. We also went to Grand Falls south of Joplin. We had lunch at Undercliff Grill - fun! There is plenty to see and do in the area! David was fantastic! Responsive and friendly, but not pushy or hovering. We were able to meet him, and he is a great guy. We will be back! I already miss the river!

This place is Great for outdoor activities and Family! The cabin is has comfy beds, clean bathroom, and a great kitchen. We were working around the Area and this cabin made the afternoons fun and relaxing, the morning coffee was great with the beautiful view of the lake out in the front porch allowing you to bathe in nature's view and air! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing trip away from the city! 10/10

Wilson was such a wonderful host! We moved from MN back home to TX and stayed at his home as it was our half way point for the drive. The property was huge and really well kept! We had plenty of room, all of our guests had their own rooms, and he was incredibly accommodating. I’m not sure that we’ll ever make our way back up to MN, but we would absolutely stay here again if we were passing through!
