We really enjoyed our stay at John's place. We were in town for a festival at the RFK fairgrounds and it was an easy walk through a safe neighborhood. John provided a fantastic site with lots of information and local recommendations. We really appreciated John helping us obtain a second parking pass since our group, unfortunately, couldn't all travel together. We would definitely recommend John to other travelers.

We stayed in this basement apartment for 8 nights and my kids and I loved having space to hang out in the evenings. The beds were comfy (on the firm side) and the kitchen was well stocked (thank you for the yummy fruit!). We also really liked the area- it was beautiful and felt very safe. There is a Maryland train stop across the street, but we never heard it during the night (we do sleep with a white noise app). We had a car, but it would be super easy to jump on public transport from the house. Jeffrey was super helpful with local recommendations and was quick to answer any of my questions. If you do stay here, make sure to eat at Manifest Bread- we ate so many yummy things from there and their almond croissants were maybe the best I’ve ever had. Overall if you’re looking for a great priced stay with easy access to DC and UMD, this is the perfect spot for you!

I was happy with my 3 week stay. I was looking for an affordable, comfortable place to stay near my office in Fairfax, and Catherine’s place delivered. Location is very convenient, easy walking distance to restaurants, Giant grocery store, a laundromat. The other airb&b guests were quiet and respectful. I recommend.

Staying at Amanda's Airbnb was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by her kindness and politeness. Her cozy home is not just a place to stay it's an experience of comfort and relaxation. One of the standout aspects of this stay was the genuine love and respect Amanda and Max has for animals, which made the atmosphere even more inviting. The neighborhood is simply breathtaking peaceful, full of nature, and yet conveniently close to everything you might need when visiting the DC area. I can confidently say that five stars are not enough to rate Amanda and her wonderful Airbnb. I will definitely be coming back whenever I visit this area again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene and heartwarming stay!

It was a pleasure to stay in Donna's house, the red room is very special and it's a beautiful neighborhood around the park. We were about to drop up our luggage earlier than the check in time which was very helpful!

This rental was exactly as described and perfect for my 2 day stay to catch a couple of games at Nationals Park. It's a very convenient and quick walk to many places including the metro to explore the city. It is an older home and it shows in places, but you can't beat the price for the location. Hotels in the area were 3x-8x more expensive for the cheapest rooms! It is a shared home with other rooms being rented, so keep in mind you may have temporary roommates! My only real negative for the property is that it is not located in the best of neighborhoods, I was even told that by people who lived there as I walked around or sat on the porch. While it didn't bother me at all being used to such places, it could for sure make some people feel wary and I wouldn't recommend the property if you're travelling with kids. Overall for the right kind of traveler this is a can't miss spot that I personally will be staying at again!

My wife and I had a great time visiting Northern Virginia. Emanuel is an exceptional host who made sure our stay was pleasant and safe. We will gladly come back if we return to the area.

There are several highlights of Michelle's Airbnb. First of all, it's clean and quiet. I am a light sleeper and very sensitive to noise, dirt, and heat. But I slept quite well and felt safe and comfortable. Second, it is well furnished, equipped, and decorated. Michelle likes gardening and I enjoyed reading and having my breakfast and dinner in the small yard (who can miss the nice weather in Virginia?!). The commute is also easy-I was here for research and it only took me 1 hour to get to Library of Congress by bus and metro. Harris Teeter, CVS, and some good Latino restaurants are also within walking distance. But the biggest highlight is Michelle herself! She is so welcoming and accommodating. Kitchen and pantry are very accessible. She also allowed me to use her TV to watch subscribed channels. I was happy to make friends with her dog Buck. I would say my experience here is beyond my expectation. I felt so much blessed living here. Trust me-you won't regret booking it!
