We had a fantastic stay. The place is spotlessly clean, beds and sofas very comfortable, and has everything you would need. Claire is a kind host - she took the time to send some tailored recommendations of things to do, which I hugely appreciated, and left us some Easter goodies to enjoy. The surroundings are very peaceful, we enjoyed waking up to views of sheep eating their breakfast in the field and it’s a great place to unwind in the outdoor hot tub. Very easy to drive towards Loch Lomond and beyond, and also accessible to Glasgow airport. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

Great house for our family Christmas, really spacious for the 7 of us, has everything you need , Craig is a great host very friendly and quickly responded to any messages, was the perfect house for what we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

A fantastic cottage and host! Highly recommended and will definitely stay again. Both Sam and Ian are lovely people with some great knowledge of the area. They both made us feel so at home A+

One of the best airbnb’s I have ever stayed in! Kristin was so accommodating and helpful. She is the best hostess I have ever stayed with. The house is super clean and tidy and it is located in the most beautiful part of Ayr. I will definitely stay at her house again!

We had a lovely stay. Nice having the space for big family get together. Very clean and good location, easy walking distance to centre and lovely views across the water.

Both Nicola and John are absolutely lovely both of them will accommodate you to the highest of level, lovely people and the most relaxing place I’ve been to in years. The view was stunning. We enjoyed our stay.

Spent a lovely time over Christmas... nice walk to the town along a promenade type path (dog loved the pebbled beach). Great views over the water, lovely big dining table for us all to get together for dinner, enough space for us all to do our different things ...and enjoyed a couple of dips in the hot tub at the end of a fun day! Didn't travel too much around the area, but Dunoon itself was nice and took a walk round nearby puck's glen which was worth the visit if you like country walks All in all, great place to stay Thanks Cam

Fantastic house - we had a group of us stay over new year and it was perfect. Huge social areas with a perfect kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Alan was so helpful. Would recommend!

Enjoyed our family getaway. A beautiful house that was stylishly furnished - very spacious and always warm. Clean modern bathrooms and amenities. Hot tub was of a high standard and nice and clean. A good base location to drive out from. Loch Etive was also within walking distance for a stroll with the dog. Handy grocery store 5 minutes walk away but unfortunately not a lot else open in Taynuilt (pub, tearoom, gift shop, butchers all closed - obviously this isn’t John’s fault though!). We got takeaway burgers and fish and chips from the Kilchruacan Inn which went down very well!

Just home from an amazing stay. The house is stunning and had absolutely everything and more that our family could ask for or need. We all enjoyed the pool table, family games and hot tub. The rooms and bathrooms were pristine. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The views of the surrounding area is out of this world. There is so much to do within the area, shop is below house, local take away and pub within walking distance. Great location for a range of family activities. Would recommend to all.

It really is hard to say enough great things about this house! The location looking over Loch Awe is a feast for the eyes ! The bedrooms all have their own unique vibe with super comfy beds ! The boat shed on the shore is easily accessible if water leisure activities like kayaking interest you. The dock & fire pit with seating will suit you if you love the outdoors & want to be close to the water. If warmer water is your thing hop in the hot tub & let it soothe away any cares you may have. Then you can cook up amazing meals in a professional kitchen that lacks very little for your cooking imagination! And the Games Room holds so many leisure activities & is a lovely private setting on its own. So take your friends on a once in a lifetime trip to this beautiful house on the shore of Loch Awe and prepared to be awed!!! We had a brilliant stay at Claire’s lodge at Cameron House. Location was spot-on, and the kids loved all the activities that were available to them, especially the swimming pool, and the park. Lodge was a perfect size for a small family, and Claire was excellent in the lead-up, during, and after our stay, answering any questions and offering local recommendations, and various discounts etc. We will definitely be back!

I would highly recommend staying here, it’s so peaceful and there’s an enclosed hot tub which adds extra privacy. Host was superb and came out to greet us (was so friendly and had a box of homemade brownies)

We enjoyed a walk around loch ,forest and hot tub. It was peaceful and relaxing holidays. The bed was comfy.

Margaret's cabin is perfectly kept, with great attention to detail. it seems everything has been thought of and accommodated for. our stay here could not have been better. Also the hot tub is a dream!

This cabin is stunning. Don't expect a mansion, it's small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in quality and function. The place is beautifully designed, inside and out, and well built. Amenities are provided for and it's comfortable. A few highlights: the view(!!!!!!), the hot tub, the deck, the headboard for the bed, and the bathroom. You will feel right at home. Rowan is responsive and friendly, couldn't ask for more!

Just spent a lovely two night weekend break at The Retreat. Great instructions meant we found the accommodation very easily. Check in couldn’t have been more simple. What a place! It’s stunning! Beautiful accommodation, amazing views and just so so peaceful! Everything you could possibly need was there, we didn’t actually meet the hosts but all their contact details were there should we have needed. The place was spotless and the hot tub was just perfect! A lovely relaxing and peaceful weekend, we were just gutted I had work the next day or would have been asking if it was free for another night!! Defo be back!! Thank you so much x

The cabin is a lovely location for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. The views are stunning and the walks around the site are very good. The hot tub was a nice feature, and we used it a few times while we were there.

Great stay , sauna and hot tub were well used . Lovely walks along the loch. George was always checking in with us via message but we had everything we needed .. Very relaxing time and well worth it.
