Farm setting, rural, peaceful with coastal views

FreddyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Heathers cottage for a golf trip, and it could not have been better. It was extremely convenient location to everywhere we wanted to go, and Heather was extremely responsive and accommodating. From making a late night arrival easy, to adjusting the timing on heater around our schedule, you couldn’t ask for any better. Our entire group was very pleased, and had nothing but positive comments. Would highly recommend staying here

Off-grid retreat hut. Isle of Mull. Scotland

EthanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An incredible place. I couldn’t have asked for a better location to spend an amazing weekend in Mull in the sunshine. Particular highlights were the deer outside the window in the morning, a golden eagle flying overhead, and incredible sunsets every evening. Thank you so much to Celia and family for being so welcoming and having me. A weekend I won’t forget for a long time!

Cottage With Amazing Scottish Glen Views

KevinRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The cottage was spectacular, fantastic location, in a beautiful setting. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at The Barn over Christmas with family and we all had a fantastic stay. The kitchen was extremely well equipped which was ideal for a full Christmas spread. It was also great to have plenty games for us all to play over the festive period too. We would definitely come back to stay.

Horseshoe Bay Chalet with fantastic sea views

AimeeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The chalet is in a beautiful, peaceful location with lots of wildlife in the surrounding grounds. There are some board games and very interesting books, some of which we have already purchased ourselves. The chalet had everything that we required, and more. However, if you prefer cooking with liquid oil, rather than spray fry lite, bring your own. The chalet is perfect for a break from everyday life, whether you're exploring nature, or lying on the ridiculously comfy sofa with a book. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Kerrera Bunkhouse and Byre (Isle of Kerrera)

LucyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
It's amazing! Just book it! Incredible location. There's everything you could possibly need in the bunkhouse which is really cosy, very well equipped and super homely. The byre is a fantastic place - we loved relaxing by the fire and playing board games there. Having the tea garden right next door was an added bonus. The food is fab.

3 bedroom cottage in peaceful & stunning location

SelenaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views were absolutely stunning. It was the perfect escape for me and my 9-year-old daughter; we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage was cozy, clean, and just what we needed to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat and very close to Loch Lomond.

Fencefoot Farm

AngelaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fencefoot Farm and were only sorry we didn’t meet Bernard. The restaurant on the same site was absolutely brilliant, delicious fresh food and extremely good value. The house is a little noisy being close to the main road, but we did know that in advance, and the garden was enclosed and safe for our dogs. We had a good 4 days with the most amazing sunny spring weather

We had a fantastic stay at Persabus cottage. It is incredibly well located (we had a car) and the surroundings were beautiful. We also loved the pottery and bought a few items as gifts. Donald’s suggestions of places to visit and eat were fantastic and much appreciated!

Southend, Mull of Kintyre, Campbeltown

JenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Just had a fabulous three days in this beautiful house! Pictures don’t do it justice - furnished to an extremely high level, brand new bathrooms and kitchen. The bedrooms are very spacious and toiletries just made it extra special. Loads of spare towels if required too. Lovely log burner in the living room and it was very effective. Area is so peaceful and the enclosed garden was perfect for the dog 🐶 Southend was lovely although very limited in amenities. Campbeltown was just a 15min car ride up the road and had everything we could have needed for our stay. Excellent host who was very quick to respond to any questions, and I would definitely recommend this home as a base to explore the southern end of Kintyre! We will return sometime soon 🥰

Cosy cabin for two on our Highland Croft

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our first experience of Airbnb and will be the first of many: it easily beats hotels! It was great to have our own space and privacy. Jo and Rory were both lovely, cheerful people. They and all their animals gave us a nice welcome and made us feel at home. The lovely touches included a nice bottle of rose, fresh eggs from the chickens, a homemade loaf, butter and milk. It was great to get flexible check-in and check-out so we weren't rushed and didn't forget anything or leave stuff behind. The cabin was so peaceful and had great views so we could sit and watch the ever-changing Scottish weather. We both slept like logs. (Talking of which, we found a shared appreciation of firewood and chopping!). Hope the two new lambs are doing well, it was a delight to see them. Thank you!

suri luxury eco pod @ little peru alpaca farm

AmbhiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Little Peru. Robin was incredibly thoughtful and had taken care of every little detail, which made our experience even more special. The highlight of our holiday was, without a doubt, the alpaca trekking. Spending time with Javier, Diego, and Santiago was truly unforgettable—they were so gentle and full of personality. We absolutely fell in love with them! Our children had a fantastic time and enjoyed every moment of the experience. It was not only fun but also surprisingly calming and therapeutic—something we’ll all remember for a long time. The pod itself was perfect for our family of four—spacious, cozy, and very well equipped. We felt right at home. We’d love to return again in the future and would highly recommend Little Peru to anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming getaway.

Time to breathe at Fairy Hill Croft

AlanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Undine is a perfect example of what a host must be. She was responsive, friendly and very thoughtful. Her place is cute, quirky, done up to an excellent standard and looked after impeccably. Thoughtful additions of keeping bread, butter, milk, eggs, jams, cotton pads and ear buds made us feel right at home. And given we did cook many meals the dishwasher was a life saver! Definitely returning again.

Amazing Beaches Kilchoan Ardnamurchan

AlanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Iona's cottage is exceptional. Well equipped and in an unbelievable position. We had the best time - helped of course by a wonderful week of weather. The local guidebook at the cottage and online was a wonderful resource and the visits to Mull, Sanna and Ardnamurchan Distillery added to the experience. None of which would have been possible without Iona's cottage which we will never forget.
