Bohemian, Lakegoilhead

We loved our stay in Lochgoilhead, it was peaceful, but still had things for us to do. There’s a great park for children under the trees too. Howard was very helpful and we had such a comfortable stay, we would definitely come back.

Tigh Bhaan, Ardnamurchan, Loch Shore House

GrahamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a delightful week at Tigh Bhaan, the house was lovely as was the surrounding countryside. Being able to watch wildlife (otter, red deer, badgers, owl, pine martens) all from the comfort of your front room was great, the TV wasn’t turned on the whole week!

I love this little bungalow. It was my home from November 2024 to May 2025 and it was perfect. If I don't come back soon (which I may), I'll be seeing ii in my dreams.

Greenside with lovely sea views in Whiting Bay

DerekRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The property was ready for us slightly before check on time and Jamie messaged to tell me. On arrival every thing was as described, so it was simple to get moved in. A little while later Jamie popped in to welcome us a make sure all was ok which of course it was. The property is spotless and extremely well equipped. Jamie kept in touch through out or stay and made some excellent recommendations. All in all an excellent property and an excellent host and also a talented artist as you can see from the paintings on the walls.

Isle of Mull Ormaig Croft with wonderful sea views

BarrieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Excellent accommodation and very well appointed. Beautifully prepared breakfast with fresh home grown produce, especially the berries. Host was very friendly and a fountain of knowledge of the island and the wildlife. The view from the bedroom that greeted us in the morning was delightful. Water views and occasional sheep, deer and many birds. We would highly recommend as a holiday destination.
A spacious deck offers an outdoor seating area with a comfortable sofa and a dining table. Scenic views of the loch and surrounding landscape are visible in the background, enhanced by the soft light of the setting sun.

House on the Shore - Sea Breeze, Ardnamurchan

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This wonderful house is the perfect quiet nature getaway. The place was as described/shown in the pictures but the scenery was even better than we could have imagined. We hired the kayaks and enjoyed some lovely time out on Loch Sunart. I have to mention the welcome pack left out for us, which included a home baked cake, some whisky, wine, crisps and biscuits which were all very much appreciated. The wildlife log book left us buzzing with anticipation as it seemed that previous guest had all encountered pine martens and badgers in the garden and we were no different, seeing both every single evening of our stay. Will visit again.

Kilcreggan cottage with a spectacular view

KathrynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Millie communicated with us quickly and positively because we were unsure of our arrival time. She quickly arrived to greet us when we arrived and chatted telling us of the local amenities. The cottage was in a beautiful setting, parking excellent for where we were in the village. Sitting eating meals and watching for dolphins was a huge time waster but kept the children occupied. We would definitely stay again.

Fireside Cottage

JessRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place was so great! Clean, spacious, so quaint, settled in the middle of the mountains with sheep behind the home which my kids loved! The home is just half of the home shown in the photo which was a bit surprising but that didn’t end up being an issue at all! Kitchen had everything, beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and cozy! There is also a little playground and pub next to hagrid’s hut location which was great for families with kids. Would definitely stay again!

Islay’s most centrally located accommodation

StephRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a very comfortable stay! Exceeded our expectations. The cottage is more spacious than we perceived from photos. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. We were happy to find a French press for coffee! The market store and hotel/restaurant/bar across the street was a plus! We were able to walk over and enjoy music drinks and authentic Scottish food. There is a wonderful walking path out the door along the river that opens to a bay where u can see Bowmore across the way. Location was central and easy to get to all distilleries by car or bus. There is also a beautiful walking path up to the Woolen mill. Would definitely recommend and stay again :)

Entire Bungalow on Tiree

AndrewRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a lovely few days staying in Angela's house on Tiree. Things that stood out for us as birders were birds like Corncrake and drumming Snipe audible at night, and Lapwings with chicks visible from the kitchen window. It's a very short walk to one of Tiree's beautiful beaches where the Sanderling were running up and down Inside, we had everything we needed, and comfortable beds. Angela was very responsive when we needed her for anything, and she kept in touch well before we got there. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the island!

A wonderful week in Tayvallich in a fabulous wee house! The house is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Amazing sunsets watched from the front window. Such a handy location for both Tayvallich and Carsaig. Sheryll was a really friendly and helpful host too. Thank you Sheryll!

Rhuvaal (Gaelic..Rubh a Mok)

Ailsa is an excellent communicator and made our stay on Islay a great experience with wonderful advice. The house is near to the Host's. it was in a quiet position close to the shops and on the doorstep to The Bowmore Distillery! Bowmore is very central so that visiting places of interest was very easy. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. it was set in a lovely garden with plenty of places to sit. We loved our week on Islay.
