Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Argostolion

Stunning pool and villa, with spectacular view through wooded hillsides to the blue sea and Ithaca. Tranquil setting but also close to the lovely town of Sami where there are great harbourside restaurants, bakeries and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Paraskevi and Antisamos beach are a short drive away and are great for snorkelling in crystal clear waters. The villa is a gem and it is the best location we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended

The place was quite and only 10 minutes from the center of Argostoli. Gerasimos was discreet and helpful if and only you wanted.

The apartment was very nice. Incredible views. Zee was very attentive to our needs during one of the hottest 3 days in history, even leaving cold drinks for us when we checked in. The apartment was very clean and exactly like the description. The house is located in a great location and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was a breeze on the street right in front Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time here! This is Konstantinos’ family house, so felt much more authentic than most of the industrial tourism apartments that you get on Airbnb these days. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and the view was spectacular. Konstantinos is destined to be a superhost for sure - he went to great lengths to give us recommendations, e.g. letting us know about a local festival taking place nearby. We ended up following his tips for most of our excursions. Plus whenever we had a question he got back to us in a matter of minutes. On top of that he was always friendly, positive and accommodating.

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

We loved our week at Emmanouella's. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures. The fruit trees and small garden delighted us. The view was beautiful and our baby loved playing with the many toys on site. The kitchen is very well-equipped. We spent two months in Greece and it's really one of our favorite houses. We felt at home there.

Villa Christina was amazing and a really good find. Location within 5mins to the beautiful port of Sami and a central location to the rest of the island. The villa was beautiful, just as described, very clean and decorated nicely, lovely pool and outside bbq within well looked after grounds. Lots of space for 4 adults and 2 children Christina was a great host and we would love to visit again

Everything was lovely

What a wonderful host! The house is very spacious, extremely clean and the host is the most accommodating. We had a great stay! It’s only a couple of streets away from the beach and everything is walkable! The house got cleaned every 4 days - amazing service! The bedsheets were white and ironed! Highly recommend!

I can’t rave about this place enough. Our stay was absolutely fantastic! What a lovely host and a brilliant location. It felt like a little oasis in paradise. Outside is great - we made use of the BBQ on more than one occasion. Hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle.

The place was beautiful, cozy, and clean. Good kitchen amenities. Large terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. Great location, good accessibility to the whole island. The locals were very friendly and kind. They also brought us a welcome cake and were interested if everything was fine. I recommend

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Chloe villa and it didn’t disappoint! It’s such a beautiful location with an amazing sea view to watch the sunrise. The pool is directly below and the sea over the road which is perfect for early morning swims. Especially due to the changing temperatures in the water where salt meets fresh and there are warm spots and cold spots. It’s a short pebble beach so water shoes (or flippers in my daughter’s case) make getting in and out of the water much easier. Steve was a brilliant host! Nothing was too much trouble. Really responsive and because we had a late flight extended our checkout time until 6pm which meant we could enjoy a full last day. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including some starter items for your arrival, such as biscuits, jam, milk, butter… and wine! There is a coffee machine, toasty maker & everything else you may need (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) A 20 min coast walk straight to Sami!

Very tranquil

This place was perfect and exactly what we wanted. The house has the most incredible views and a very quiet and sandy beach just below. The supermarket and town is close by or a quick walk down the beach to the Fishbones beach restaurant. We appreciated the supply of essentials too. We all said, “let’s come back”.

Great communications with clear arrangements for meeting us on arrival, after the journey from the airport. Good local restaurants and a supermarket/ bakery 5 minutes walk. Also 5 minutes walk from the underground lakes. 1.5km from Sami on foot - you can stroll there and back for a huge choice of bars, shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was great. Welcome wine, juice and water in the fridge and 4 coffee pods with UHT creams. Butter and jam portions also in the fridge. Decent parking around the apartment as well. I would highly recommend. Great for two - we had our son on the sofa bed, so can accommodate 4. If you see Piggy the Dog, say hello. He had the uncanny ability to walk us to the nearest restaurant where he then enjoyed the leftovers.

Villa 4 has a stunning location with a superb sea view. The amenities of the 5star hotel are available , inclusive of a free shuttle service into Skala. We have been staying at villas in Europe for nearly 30 years and this one is up there with the best. One small point....since this was our first visit to Kefalonia , it would have beneficial to have a brochure on site outlining places to see , restaurants to visit , local amenities etc. Overall , I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

A beautiful villa. We stayed with another couple and had an amazing time. Not much to say other than it was exactly what we wanted; do not hesitate to book. Great restaurants a 5 minute walk away (had coffee / breakfast at Boho multiple times and Veramente for a nice dinner) and a nice bakery a 5 minute drive (Φούρνος Ο ΚΑΛΟΥΡΗΣ). Pool was cleaned everyday by the very responsive hosts.

A beautiful location for a serene wind down. I came to Foteini’s Villa with my husband, mother, father and 2 brothers and we had a wonderful time. The place was clean and had great facilities. We were met by George at the local gas station to direct us to the villa. The villa is beautiful! The view over looking the ocean is perfect and you get the best sunset. A car is definitely advisable as it is remote. We had recommendations from George and Foteini for things to do on the island and supermarkets. We definitely would return to this slice of heaven. This place is a paradise. Quiet, comfortable, clean and the views are absolutely stunning. I didn’t want to leave and ended up extending for two more days. Ideal location to explore the Island and Themis was a very attentive host. I wish there were more stars to give!

We enjoyed staying at athinas place for part of our honeymoon! It was a great location that was close to many beautiful beaches and towns. The house itself is very spacious and updated. We loved the outdoor patio and the beautiful view. Would definitely recommend!

Eftichia welcomed us very affectionately with lots of hugs She left us fruit,wine and water for our 10days stay and she showed us all what we needed to know about the property The property was superb for location and walkable to restaurants and supermarkets as my wife and myself are over 80 The gardens are lovely and peaceful with a very friendly cat which both grandchildren loved ,would highly recommend booking this accommodation,hope to return soon David

An amazing property in a secluded position with excellent facilities. The view, outdoor area /sunbeds / bbq are in mint condition and first class. Mini market and restaurants within a 3 minute drive. Beautiful, quiet beach (St Thomas) 5 minute walk / 2 minute drive away. As with anywhere you stay in Kefalonia a car is necessary to be able to maximise the multitude of beautiful townships and beaches during your stay. Harilaos and his family are a very special family - they give you complete privacy but are always available if you need anything - they treated us like an extension of their own family. They went above and beyond on a number of occasions - even driving to the airport at 10pm to meet us at our rental car location to lead us ‘home’ when google maps crashed. I highly recommend this property and hope to have the pleasure of returning again one day.
