The Herbret and the sauna is a recreational experience! The lodge is located 80 meters from Lake Åresjön; 10 meters from the lake is the sauna; 200 meters away is the VM8 ski slope. Bus station 200 m that takes you to the village center. Otherwise, you can walk about 1.3 km, about 20 minutes walk. Ski rental SkiStar about 500m. Sheets are NOT included. Two 90-cm (35-in) beds. Good to know! The train tracks are close by; there is the sound of trains a few times per day/evenings. During your stay, the sauna can be rented out to groups of the host Fia, she will communicate that with the guest.

Ottsjö, Årefjällen - with magnificent views!

Cozy, classic mountain cabin with amazing views of the mountain landscape! The cottage has a large living room with a fireplace and exit to the balcony in a sunny south-facing location. The kitchen was replaced a couple of years ago and is fully equipped with a dining table attached, three bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower and toilet. Sauna is available. Crib is available. Hiking and skiing trails are accessible directly around the corner from the house. To Åre it is about 25 minutes, Vålådalen about 30 minutes. In Ottsjö village there is ICA Bua, dog sledding, brewery, etc.

Brunkulla II

When you need to get back to your roots and live close to nature! Moose and reindeer do not care about property boundaries and may well visit! In Brunkulla II, you live both primitively and comfortably - you fetch water in the basin, you get hot water by heating on the stove - you yourself get warm by carrying the water bucket up the hill! If you want to get really warm, you can take a wood-fired sauna with a portable shower. The cottage has three beds - 1x120cm, 2x90cm and is heated with electricity and/or wood stove! Close to the mountain range!

In this fantastic little mountain village Ottsjö, our newly built house is in a high position overlooking the mountain world in Åre. The house is 76 sqm with panoramic windows and beautiful material choices. In this house, you will feel like you are outdoors even when you are sitting inside by the stove with a cup of tea. Just behind the house, there are several prepared cross-country trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails and proximity to fine fishing. A perfect house for friends and families with children who also want to bring their dog.

Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.
