Vacation rentals with a patio in Arcata

My needs are pretty simple. A bed and hot shower. But this place went way beyond. Great location to get to see the tall trees both north and south. Easily walkable to great food and a very chill general feel about the place. Host met us outside to make sure we found the place and was super responsive. Having a full size washer dryer meant that I could pack fewer clothes and I’m pretty sure I came home with only clean laundry! I guess to make sure people know this is a real review I should find something bad to say…. Let me see…. Oh yeah, you have to open a gate to get to the room and the sign says to pull the rope to open the gate…. It’s more of a string than a rope 😋. Seriously though I will stay there again the next time we visit.

The place was beautiful and furnishings were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. Linda was very friendly and kept checking to see if we needed anything. She even made and delivered a very delicious desert for us to enjoy which was very thoughtful and unexpected!

This home was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment you pulled into the driveway you already felt right at home. The house was cozy and the furniture extremely comfortable. The kitchen was WELL stocked and it had everything that you could possibly need. We ended up cooking dinner one of the nights there because how cozy and easy it was! The big open windows made it so you could see the ocean from every aspect of the house. Drinking a cider and sitting in the jacuzzi while watching the waves was the best part. This was a home away from home and we are already looking forward to returning!

Nice, quiet stay in the Redwoods as described in the listing. We appreciated having the futon made up for our 3rd person and there were a couple doors to create privacy for the futon person and the bedroom people. Artistic touches throughout. Close to Arcata. They offered use of hot tub if we had wanted.

This place was magical. The view is undeniably beautiful and the house was welcoming with the perfect amount of amenities and pretty landscaping. The beds and bedding were just what we needed after a few days on the road… absolute relaxation. The hot tube was just right for two people and greatly appreciated after hiking the redwoods. We loved sitting around the fire pit mornings and nights as we soaked in the view. We stopped for groceries in Eureka but Trinidad has a small, nice grocery all the expected necessities and more. For travelers who are used to having condiments provided, there is coffee, tea, packaged creamers, salt & pepper and cooking oil. Our favorites — this house, hiking the redwoods and Trinidad State Beach. Note — While the listing states a hike down to the beach is possible, our active group advise that you visit Agate beach or the state beach, which are much easier to navigate and equally breathtaking. This was the sweetest, cleanest and most peaceful guest house I have stayed in! The spacious one bedroom house is full of light and feels even more spacious than the pictures portray. I heard only birds singing and soft rain falling my entire four-day stay. There is a parking area off the street right next to the house, with a private gate entry to the sun filled front yard. Something about the little house really feels so welcoming. Please treat it well!

This is a return engagement for me. Shawna, it is a pleasure to stay at Bell Hill. The location is perfect, with a view of the bay. When the weather was good, the front porch served as my office. Quiet yet close to the freeway with a stellar view and everything you need for a short or extended stay. We are in town on a regular basis to visit family—we will be back in a few months. Myself and my family had awesome experience. Literally outside her house you have a Redwood trail. The house 🏠 it's little bit amazing. Feels just like home. We will definitely come back here.

This was our second time staying here. It is very comfortable and the location is perfect-close to everything and very walkable. We will be back.
