Lovely cabin with ski-in/ski-out at Gausta

This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

Lovely place to stay at in a very peaceful, relaxing and beautiful environment. All of the amenities were so nice to have including the outdoor firepits and the bbq which made for cozy evenings. We didn’t realize when we booked that we needed to pay an additional cost for the sauna, but it was very enjoyable especially with the lake right in front of it. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for everything 😊

New cabin with ski in/ski out in Hovden

Lovely new cabin with plenty of space and great views from the living room towards the alpine complex. The disc was not quite with us in week 10, so it was only possible with "ski out". "Ski in" requires that the lift in Breive run, but due to the wind and mild weather, it was unfortunately quiet. Bad, we still got 4 out of 6 days of skiing, and there was plenty of time to enjoy yourself indoors. With 2 living rooms spread over 2 floors, there was plenty of room for everyone. Wifi ran stable and fast on all floors. Highly recommended to others.

We were six skiing people who enjoyed the cabin very much. Good with space, hooks, etc. for equipment and clothes. Nice bathrooms with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and the sofa were lovely to sink into after a long ski day. Plus for the opportunity to burn in the fireplace and also on the terrace. So cozy! Would love to come back. We had a wonderful holiday cabin of J. and M.. Even before we arrived, we felt welcome and very well informed by J. and M.. Both hosts responded to messages within a very short time and recommended, for example, dreamy hiking in the vicinity. Upon arrival at the residential area, Jonas quickly let us open the barrier. Through the key safe, we could easily and easily get into the cabin. There was everything you need for a relaxing and very comfortable holiday: the kitchen is fully equipped with high quality dishes, good wine glasses and pots. Even a food processor, a kitchen scale, a waffle iron and baking molds are available. In addition, there is a robot vacuum cleaner. A cell phone is located in the cottage, which allows you to open the barrier on your own. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are furnished to a high standard. The jacuzzi on the terrace is an absolute highlight.

Thank you for letting us rent your cabin, we were very happy with it. Really cozy and you always answered so quickly to my questions. I recommend it to others absolutely. 👍

Large and spacious cabin that was nicely maintained, neat and clean. Nothing was missing. There were 16 of us and there was plenty of space. It's perfectly located for skiing with the slopes right outside the door. Really good and helpful host

With big family and active kids, this was the perfect place. Beautiful view of Gaustatoppen from the bedroom. It was quick to get up to the slopes by car. Lene was friendly and very helpful as soon as questions were asked. Highly recommend this home.

The cabin and the location is just fenomenal. We enjoyed every moment here.

Cute cottage apartment in beautiful surroundings! Can recommend. Alf Magne and Nina are very responsive. Hytta has everything you need. Just note that the slopes are only open Fri-Sun - which we did not check, arriving on a Monday. Our fault! Thankfully Hovden is only a 45 min drive away where we enjoyed the slopes and skiløypen.
