The lounge has a cosy wood burner for the cooler months and the French doors can be opened onto the private Mediterranean courtyard.

Our newly renovated dog friendly cosy cottage is the perfect base to explore the local area, the fine eateries and the stunning coastal walks. Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exponses beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.

Welcome to our coastal retreat, West Quay House has got everything, spacious living space, central location, top quality fittings and furnishings, and a breathtaking view. West Quay House offers stunning uninterrupted views across the ever changing seascape of the rivers Taw and Torridge estuary as they meet the Atlantic. The view is dynamic as the tide rises and falls bringing the sea to within 2m of the house at high tide and revealing the estuary rocks and sands at low tide.

Bimbos is originally a 17th century cottage with the drang (alleyway) even older It is a quirky cottage with lots of interesting original features. It has estuary views, easy access to walks and several pubs and restaurants close by. The cottage is equipped for a family or 2 couples to enjoy with both bedrooms having their own en-suite bathrooms. The property also has a separate dining room and kitchen and the lounge looks out on to the garden which has a seated decking area.
