Villa Athina is a special place, truly one of a kind. We loved it from the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect and one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been to. You can tell that there was a lot of love put into the whole space. We would come back, literally anytime my only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer! It’s about a 30 minute drive from Naxos town, so it’s definitely for those who want to rent a car and get a little bit out of the town! The beach near by is amazing and we can’t wait to come back

had an AMAZING time staying right next to the Aegean sea. falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was lovely, and Apollonas is just a short walk away with great food. Aspasia was so friendly and helpful, and always quick to respond. can't wait to come back!

Yannis&Stella’s place is a perfect, peaceful place in the small coastal town of appolonas. The house is extremely well equipped and they even left us some fruit, homemade jam and homemade liquor, which was extra lovely. It is 2 hours by bus from the port of Naxos and not easy to travel around(if you don’t have a car) as it is quite isolated, but perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Yannis&Stella also have great local tips on the area which we enjoyed.

Home. This is what Andriana’s hospitality feels like. When we left it felt like saying goodbye to a family member! This is a special place. The home, the village, and Naxos itself. Come here to be reminded what is important in life: community, kindness, and family. We found all and more here in our 2+ week stay in early August. The village of Apollonas has a tranquil spirit that matches the wind and small waves lapping at the shores. On a clear day, the bays glisten with pearly rocks and sand. On a windy one, the ocean will impress you with its power, churning aqua that can be viewed from scenic cliffs all along the village. In summer, fresh figs and blackberries line the roads, and all lead to the enormous bay. Families return here year after year for its deep pleasantness. As said before, Andriana and family treated us with such kindness that we truly miss their company. Kyriaki speaks perfect English and is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the town and Naxos. Her mother’s generosity is only matched by her cooking! Quite the team! The apartment is perfectly modest and clean, with a gorgeous view to the wild beach from porch, kitchen, and bathroom. Full size fridge and small burner/oven which we used frequently. AC in the bedroom! The town center and beach is 5 minutes down a quaint path where I snagged fresh figs daily. We appreciated the seclusion of the apartment and the quiet whenever you wanted it. We frequented 3 great restaurants, 3 great cafes for coffee, and one beach bar on the far side of the beach across wooden planks. If you are thinking about coming to this hidden paradise, do it. You will leave feeling more like yourself than when you arrived.
