Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Anna Bay

Literally booked at the last minute we felt like we'd won AirBnB lotto. Sally's home was perfect for our needs and was exactly as described. After 7 hrs of driving to be able to strech out on the couch and watch a movie was awesome, have a hot shower and stepping out onto warm tile floor (underfloor heating - like wow. It was 'Home away from Home'. Pristine clean, well equipped kitchen with ample crockery & glassware. Super comfy bed. Will stay again if back in the Hunter Valley again a day would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Michelle and Andrew’s beautiful place! The décor was stunning, and the house has a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Everything was spotlessly clean and wonderfully tidy, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered, with so many extras provided to make our stay incredibly comfortable and easy. Best of all were the accomodations and little touches for dogs throughout the house. We (and our pup) loved the welcome package 🐾 It truly had everything we needed — and more! We would highly recommend the home to anyone looking for a relaxing and delightful getaway.

Everything exactly as advertised. Clear instructions. Immaculate. Despite a rainy weekend, the house still felt warm and cozy. It had everything you could need, from a baby cot to a coffee machine, game boards, basic condiments in the kitchen, additional pillows... Loved the heat fittings in the bathrooms. Lovely back view to little forrest. Anthony was clea r with his messages. Totally smooth transaction.

Lovely bright airy quiet house with a great backyard for pets. Walking distance from shops and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Jay and Rod’s home was beautiful! We had a wedding to attend at the Little Beach Boathouse, and this place was the perfect location as we could easily walk down to the venue. Would definitely recommend!

A great property to base yourself while in Shoal Bay. 10 minute walks into Shaol Bay, or to the beaches. To have Wreck beach 10 minute walk from your door is fantastic. Beds are extremely comfortable and the house was perfect for what we wanted. If we do get the opportunity to visit Shoal Bay again, we defiantly hope to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay with everything we needed at the house. The house layout, yard, pool was fantastic. The house was so clean and had literally everything we needed. Great place to stay with family or if you want to be close to the golf course.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was the perfect getaway. Cherie is lovely and very communicative and the accommodations were better than the pictures. My husband kept commenting that he’d love to move to a studio like this one!

I treated my son and his girlfriend to a weekend getaway, and since it was their first trip to the area, Sue was incredibly helpful with recommendations that made their stay both smooth and enjoyable. The kids had a great time, and the place was exactly as described. If I ever make it to the area myself, I’ll definitely be staying here.

Jemma & Brett’s place was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect being walking distance to restaurants and the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

The studio was sparkling clean and the bed was really comfy. The reverse cycle AC made the studio cozy on a cold winter weekend and there is a great pub only one block away with excellent food. Cath and Alex were very friendly and helpful both before we arrived as well as during our stay. Overall it was excellent value for money. We had a great weekend and we will be back for our next Newcastle visit.

We had an incredible time at Vicki's place. The location is excellent, and the natural light in the apartment makes you want to stay in all day. It was spotless and had all the appliances we needed. If we return to Shoal Bay, we would definitely book it again. Vicki was very helpful and responsive, when we accidentally locked ourselves out, she had it sorted within 15 minutes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend this place 100%. It was phenomenal.

Nicky was friendly and a pleasure to deal with from the outset. The property was exactly what we expected as a result of seeing the photos in her listing and very comfortable and extremely clean. The view out the front of the unit across the water was amazing. The beds and linen were wonderful, so we slept soundly each night, and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed, so much so, that we felt it was our own. We couldn't speak highly enough about our stay, so happy to return sometime and to recommend it to anyone looking for a quality property at an awesome location. Thank you Nicky.

Perfect home away from home, close to the beach. Good communication with hosts. Bicycles are a nice addition to explore the area and EV charging port is super useful too.

Loved the view from the loungeroom & balcony. Everything was neat & tidy. Lots of books, DVDs, etc. Great smart TV. Beds were comfy. Nice & roomy apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Had a lovely time.

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Loved this place, the host and the parkland around. Very convenient. Perfect independent little cottage with all amenities needed. Look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

We have been on a lengthy road trip and Bill’s place was our favourite out of every where we stayed. The views were amazing, everything we could need was catered for and we felt very comfortable and at home. Would have extended our stay if we weren’t on a schedule so will have to come back another time. Not sad about it-a wonderful part of the world and an awesome accommodation option 🙂

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂
