Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Anna Bay

We absolutely loved Annie’s house! We had a peaceful and relaxing stay along with our 2 kittens. The pantry is fully stocked with essentials. It’s 2 mins drive to town proper where Woolworths is. It’s 10 mins drive to salamander shopping centre where you can find Kmart, Aldi, Woolworths etc. it’s 11 mins drive to sand dune where all tourist activities are located such as sand boarding and camel riding. Beach is super close too! If you’re looking for a relaxing and affordable place, this is the place to be!

The house was very nice and in a great location for anyone with dog's. Only 5 minutes walk to the dog friendly beach and half an hour's walk into town. As we haven't been to the area before, Clare's recommendations of things to do were excellent for the whole family.

Our stay was simply PERFECT. Lynn is a super host, and the property was so well equiped. I stayed there for a much needed girls night, and we were all amazed at how well stocked the house was and how beautifully renovated and clean. And to top it all off a gorgeous enclosed back garden for my fur baby. We will definitely be back 🙌

Our family of eight adults enjoyed our weekend in Pokolbin. We enjoyed the view to the mountains from the balcony and the large yard with three rustic chipping greens to practice our golf. The house was spacious and the ducted air-conditioning provided warmth during some cold winter weather. The BBQ are was also excellent. The property is walking distance to a few cellar doors and a nearby restaurant provided a free shuttle service for convenience. Melissa was a wonderful host and made every effort to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

Great place, exactly as described. It accommodated our group of 8 who visited the Hunter Valley for a golf trip. Checking in was seamless, the host was responsive and always checking in on us to make sure we were taken care of. Will 100% recommend to any friends and family visiting the Hunter Valley region.

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! Beautiful, modern interior, walking distance to Shoal Bay for restaurants, pub, bike hire or to watch the dolphins at sunset. Or for the more intrepid, lots of hiking options right out the back door. The house was so well-equipped we also spent some days enjoying the pool, pizza oven and outdoor entertaining area. Highly recommended!

Such a great and central location to Shoal Bay. The home was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed.

This is the second time we’ve visited Paul’s place and hopefully they’ll be another. It’s a quintessential Australian coast house, full of character and warmth. The beach is across the road and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. Heaven! Great back yard, everything you need and Paul is a 10 out of 10 host!

The group and I really enjoyed the stay, the host was very responsive and flexible with our needs and requests. We felt warm and welcome when we checked in, they even gave us a bottle of wine! We also enjoyed the game room and the kitchen facility. Highly recommended staying at this property next time you go to Hunter.

We had such a lovely stay – the place was warm and cosy, perfect for a relaxing family retreat. It’s in a quiet bush setting but still super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to Merewether Beach and Hickson Street Lookout. We loved taking our dogs for walks along Merewether Beach and even found a great dog-friendly café nearby – the perfect spot for an early brekkie and sunrise. The lookout was stunning at sunset, though dogs aren’t allowed there, so we left ours in the car for a short while. The cottage has a big wooden table out on the deck, and we really enjoyed having lunch there, listening to the frogs singing while the dogs explored the garden. Such great value for a pet-friendly getaway. Thanks so much, Stewart!

Rhonda' s house was perfect for our extended family stay while we attended a family wedding in the Hunter Valley. very spacious house and plenty of room to spread out or share space together. it was very clean and well appointed. The EV car charger was helpful addition for one of our cars overnight as well. The spa was a nice addition for an evening relaxation after a 9 hour drive.

Tamara was very responsive and helpful in finding accomodation that we needed in our situation. The house was clean and very cozy. We had a great experience staying at Dylmara.

Our extended family had a wonderful long weekend at Windmill Lodge. There is lots of space and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for large groups. We also made use of the wood fire for pizza and the extra large paella pan. Lots of lounges and seating and a big long dining table perfect for large groups. Tanya was very helpful is setting up extra beds as we required and we felt very at home.

we stayed at Villa Nessa for a bucks weekend with 14 guys, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was immaculate, spacious, and felt more like a home than a rental. There were plenty of comfortable beds, large living areas, and a fully equipped kitchen that made group meals easy. The spa was a standout feature—hot, clean, and ideal for relaxing after a long day. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet still close to everything we needed. Although we didn’t meet Vanessa in person, she was an exceptional host. Her communication was prompt, polite, and super helpful from start to finish. She made everything smooth and stress-free, even with a large group. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into making the home welcoming and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our mate’s upcoming wedding. Highly recommended to any group looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-managed stay. Would definitely return to Villa Nessa

Relaxed, natural, clean and cosy! Just a few words to capture this peaceful home. Owners went above and beyond even to a point where a bag was left and they posted it back to Sydney without additional charges. Stunning view, mineral pool - the photos don’t do it justice. My mum, my brother and I had a great time at Karen’s self-check-in accommodation in Bobs Farm. My wife and I got married at the winery and restaurant Sunset + Vine a few km down the road from the place, and the place was perfect for our needs. Karen was an amazing responsive host, and even assisted with picking up my mother and brother at the end of the night after the ended celebration to ensure they got home safe. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The view was lovely— the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. We spent hours relaxing by the fireplace, which made the whole place feel so cozy and calming. Samantha’s place was the wonderful retreat that we needed. The location is excellent, being close to beaches and parks, and the place itself was very clean, beautifully presented, and was decked out with all that we needed for our stay and more. We didn’t need to ask any questions because instructions were so clear and communication was proactive. We instantly relaxed and will definitely be booking a mini break there another time.

What an Amazing get away just a stones throw from Sydney, Me and my fiancée stayed here with our two dogs, the boat house is tucked away from the main house, check in was a breeze and the host are very responsive which is good. We spent our evenings cooking in the alfresco kitchen area and using the pizza oven which we are yet to master ! The jetty was the highlight for me, it’s the perfect fisherman’s set up, rod holders and bait boards, clean water and sink. We had a lot of success fishing catching all sorts, they even provide already set up rods for Beginners, nice touch. The boat house is stunningly decorated with a real eye for detail, also spotlessly clean. Plenty of wild life to see and some of the best views you’ll find from the central coast, we could not recommend this place anymore ! We will be back, thank you ivona and Dean!

Elizabeth’s loft is just perfect - and she is a wonderful and really helpful host. The space is super clean and comfortable and it has everything you might need, including a well-equipped kitchen and a work desk if you’re in town for business. The location is simply superb being so close to the beach, the best ocean baths ever, great coffee, yoga (at the surf club a short walk away) and the list goes on. Loved my stay!

We returned with our toddlers and had another great stay. Especially love the views, log fire and spaciousness. Thanks!
