Monthly Rentals in Ancroft

We did a long stay and we couldn’t be more pleased. Didn’t know much about area but we found the cutest village and lovely people in town. Just a short distance away we were able to visit York, Newcastle, Bamburgh, Chain bridge, Eyemouth, Paxton house and lots more. Berwick upon Tweed is filled with history and beautiful nature. We took long walks on the nature paths and also did the Berwick-Upon-Tweed walls. Lots of good coffee shops and amazing restaurants. Our hosts were super responsive and thoughtful. Train station literally around the corner and is your gateway to so many interesting places. Long or short stay you can’t go wrong.

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay, this is it! The cottage is in a fabulous location, with a sea view and plenty of space to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather, but if it's not so good there is a cosy sitting area inside. The beds are also really comfortable. All in all, definitely to be recommended.

We had a perfect stay at Findara, it was peaceful, spacious and beautifully decorated. The kids loved it and didn’t want to come home. We loved the open plan kitchen, living area where we could all be together but doing different things. The kids loved playing in the garden. It had everything we needed for our family of 6. Including extra bits all ready for our baby. We cant wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, looked just as photos. Everything spotlessly clean. All you could need was provided for (towels, kitchen utensils etc). Enclosed area both front and back of cottage. Washing line at the back too. Great communication from host too, quick and helpful responses. Had a little trouble finding it due to postcode covering a large area, but asked a friendly local who was very helpful and then found it no problem. Messaged host about local places to eat and was recommended the Cross Inn in Paxton (about 15-20 mins walk away) which was a great little place and a delicious dinner. A very peaceful location, surrounded by fields. Our little furry friend loved it too! Would absolutely stay here again 😀
