Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Anchorage

We came to Alaska for a Memorial Day service for my deceased brother. Krista was so thoughtful in everything she did. Our stay was relaxing and fun despite the circumstances. The breakfasts were amazing and her restaurant suggestions never disappointed! We felt completely at home and well cared for. I can’t recommend them enough!

Great stay in Girdwood!

Amazing stay! I loved how close it was to everything and the view from my room was gorgeous! If you’re going to the spa or resort area and not trying to spend a hefty penny for overnight stays, I’d recommend staying here! However, it is quite a small space so I’d only recommend it for solo travelers or couples! Definitely go to Jack Spratts (recommendation from the locals at the spa)! The Alaska Man burger was deliciousssss

This is in a great location, walkable to restaurants etc. The area is beautiful and the building is very cute. We loved the common area and the snacks and the breakfast were a very nice touch. They do need to get a new toaster though, as it took 3 tries just to get warm bagels. The room we were is was very small but it was okay since the common area was comfortable. I also liked that it was tucked in the back and close to a door to the backyard. Unfortunately the floors were not very clean but everything else was clean and comfortable.

This is our second time staying here. Our first time was great and this time even better! Walkable distance to a great restaurant, grocery store, breakfast place, bar, coffee place, post office. Short drives to a brewery, ski resorts and more restaurants. The host was amazing, very friendly and flexible with the check-in time. Great breakfast option and common area.

We stayed one night so we could go to the Nordic Spa and just hang out. The beds were really comfortable and we loved the spacious bathroom. The lobby is super cute with the little fireplace and cozy layout. We loved the breakfast items and coffee available for us in the morning. The location is perfect as well since it’s close to everything one would need within walking distance.

It was just what I needed for a night in Girdwood where I had other plans the whole weekend. Clean, quiet place to sleep between all the other activities.

JoAnna's property was very nice, she is remodeling so it will be wonderful when done, clean, quiet, and in an older neighborhood. Felt safe at all times. She is friendly, can tell you stories for hours about Anchorage and just a super person. I had a problem with my truck, she immediately began suggesting places she had personal knowledge of to get the truck fixed, offered to help, and even let me use her vehicle to get to work! You just don't see that kindness in most people nowadays. I plan on staying with JoAnna in the future, especially as I fly in to Anchorage from the bush every other week.

The place seemed great, nice area, great to have a little breakfast in the morning. We were only there basically to stay the night, so we didn’t really settle in, but everything seemed comfy enough.

Thank you for the warm welcome and the beautiful home where I stayed these past two days. Your house is absolutely lovely, and everything was perfect. Came up to celebrate 2025 Iditarod-exactly 100 years since our original 1925 Serum Run; and had the wonderful opportunity to stay with Elijah. The neighborhood was perfectly safe and quiet, and Elijah was greatly informative and accommodating. Beautiful Room and Bathroom, Great Hot Tub, Spacious House with plenty to do and see! Had a close encounter with a neighborhood Mama Moose and Calf, but all ended well, and even more lovely birds to watch! Staying here was definitely a highlight of my trip, and I'm proud to recommend this host for your next trip to Anchorage. You're in for a great stay and a great time.

Donata and her husband were above and beyond hosts, and they offer an extremely high value traditional bnb experience. Their house is situated on a mountainside just north of anchorage and has incredible expansive valley views from their deck and rooms. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy, and equipped with personal electric fireplace as well as a smores kit if we wanted to use the firepit in the backyard. VERY nice shower in the room as well. Communication from Donata was always proactive and quick to respond, ensuring we were aware of any wildlife roaming the property like bears and moose we should beware of. She whipped up an incredible breakfast spread for us themed for the memorial day weekend we were there which was truly special. Included egg and sausage frittata, sautéed potatoes, fresh berries with yogurt and local honey, homemade bagels and cappuccinos! Cherry on top of their hospitality was letting us stay nearly a full extra night before our redeye departure.

Bob and Donna were amazing hosts. The most welcoming hosts we have ever seen. Bob went out of his way to help us to show Flat Top at midnight. Both helped us to understand things around Alaska for first time visitors. Best recommendations for places and restaurants as per your food choices. Best couple and host ever met. Thank You Both. Was looking for a place to stay for 1 night for a doctors appointment and this place was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood and not too far from everything we needed to do and was very clean and tidy. We happened to meet them as we pulled up and from the very beginning they were super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely try and stay here again in the future.

Exactly what we needed for our 2 day stay in Anchorage. I stayed with my wife and son. The location is a walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars. The unit was clean and private. The common areas were clean and welcoming. Light breakfast provided is and excellent bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great place to stay in Eagle River. Wonderful views and not too far from town. Easy to access and plenty of amenities, including a hot tub on the deck. Donata is a very kind and responsive host. She was even so thoughtful as to offer a great snack platter to us for Mother's Day weekend! It's a quiet spot on the mountain above town, but easy enough to find and just a few minutes drive from town. Would highly recommend!
