This cozy home located in the hillside was just what we needed. The view was breathtaking and the interior of the house was something out of a magazine. Location to Homer and the Spit was great. Despite being 15 minute drive from the spit, it is an easy drive and well worth it for the view while at the house. Scott and Hester are the most responsive hosts I've ever dealt with. And I just fell in love with the impressive tile work in the master steam shower. Thank you for allowing us to bring our fur baby with us, she loved it as well. We definitely will be back. Thanks again for making our first time to Homer memorable.

Place was great. Went with my husband and my little kids. Everything was cleaned. We had a late check out because we had a clam digging trip and my sister was watching my baby. Very friendly the host and she responded on time our messages. We will stay here again.

Great place with a beautiful view. It was well stocked with all of the essentials and bedding we could need! The only thing I would note is the bluff is quite a bit closer than it looked in the photos, so I would not recommend this Airbnb if you have young children. Definitely not a negative thing as you cannot beat the beautiful location and view but something to consider if you have littles.

The home was clean and comfortable. Easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Kitchen was fully stocked as well.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious, and the views were mesmerizing. Glaciers, mountains, the bay, and only a few minutes outside the hustle and bustle of the main town. Very much enjoyed staying, and the beds were SO comfy! 10/10 would reserve again!

Mike's place was incredibly comfortable—thoughtfully designed with an open concept layout that we absolutely loved (and now want to recreate in our own home!). The kitchen was especially impressive—well-stocked with all the little details that made cooking family meals a breeze. Each room was cozy and decorated with such care, making it feel both relaxing and special. The location couldn’t have been better—centrally located and close to just about everything. We walked to the Farmers Market, the super market and the brewery just across the street. As a fun bonus, the taco stand they own serves up some seriously delicious tacos! Definitely make time to stop by the Spit for a bite—you won’t regret it. Highly recommend this spot for a truly enjoyable Homer experience!

The cabin we stayed in was perfect - everything we needed and more. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly, ready to help with whatever we needed. Was also really nice to be close to everything but also in a quiet little area to recoup. Would stay again!

We stayed at this cozy cabin for 2 days and it was amazing! The cabin itself is a well maintained home that offers amazing views of the ocean, and authentic Alaskan relics. The porch is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and think about writing your next novel. Just as a heads up, the road and driveway is a little steep/small for a larger vehicle, but there are plenty of parking options available. The steps to the loft are also a little steep for someone that might have some mobility issues. I highly recommend making this place a special part of your Alaskan adventure!

Staying at Old and Bold was fantastic! June and her husband Felix were wonderful hosts and are now my new friends. The home was immaculate and the view spectacular. It felt like staying with family. June and her three dogs were wonderful! My dog Maddie loved playing with them and June checked on her when I was away. The only thing I would say, is that the listing made it look like I was renting the whole home, but it was only the bottom floor. It ended up being better that way and my stay was incredible. I will be back!

Such a stunning view on the clear days from the cabin. We really appreciated the stay.

The Barn is surrounded by beautiful views everywhere! My family is excited to come back again and share the location with another family with kids. The road down to the barn is adventurous! Make sure you have the right car and a driver who can handle a bumpy dirt road. We were comfortable and had a peaceful evening at the Barn. In the morning my husband, daughter, and I enjoyed a short walk along the road to take in spectacular views of Kachemak Bay.

I can’t put our experience in words! Haley (the incredible housekeeper) was our main contact and did everything she could for us! Exactly as described, serene little cabin on a perfect slough with great game choices, and clean. If you have toddlers just watch them near the railings and on the stairs! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back

The location was absolutely PERFECT for our stay! We could walk to most things and also had a beautiful view from the window and porch. The decor and overall setup of the space was perfect and so well decorated!! Marya also went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable, purchasing a washing basin before we got there for my hand wash items. She really did not need to do that but it was such a kind touch, along with the snacks, umbrellas, and recommendations she provided. I would stay here a million times more if I could!! Thank you again, Marya - you truly are a gifted host!

Reenie and John were great hosts! They treated us like we were dear friends. Reenie had left us fresh ground coffee for the morning, and John made sure we had the protection we needed for our hiking. They gave us great suggestions on what to do in Homer and where to eat. On our last night, John stopped by to give us a big plate of fried Halibut- the best we’ve ever tasted. Our favorite part of Homer - John and Reenie’s backyard - great views, nice hot tub and fire pit. We highly recommend staying at this property!

It's also perfect for a family getaway, with a spacious spare room, living room, and kitchen suitable for preparing meals for everyone. Lovely place with incredible views of Homer and the spit. We rented both units and it was perfect for a large group. The owner was very welcoming, easy to communicate with, and accommodated the requests we had. The home is conveniently located by various restaurants and other vendors such as Safeway which made our stay more convenient and enjoyable!

This place is everything you see via pictures, however better. Just book it, it’s worth it! Can’t wait to return!

Ryan’s place was awesome. The hot tub on the back deck coupled with the private family setting and the view was awesome. If you’re traveling with a group that needs more than two bedrooms, this place is stellar. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.
