We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Douwe even gave an extra bed as there were 4 of us. They also prepare some stroop waffles as welcome snack :) Location was really convenient and located in a quiet street. Douwe was also very accommodating and helpful during check in & check out. Will definitely recommend the apartment!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Lovely home on a quiet street. The community garden in back was nice and perfect if you are traveling with young kids. We felt right at home and would stay again.

We enjoyed our vacation at Kim‘s home very much. We had enough space and all rooms are beautiful furnished. The little garden was also a nice place to sit and relax after a day at the beach or a walk through beautiful city of Haarlem.

We felt right at home, a quiet area, with amenities all nearby 3 km from the center of Haarlem. To get to Amsterdam we used the train that in 10 minutes reaches Amsterdam Central Station. Highly recommended.

If you’re planning a trip to Amsterdam, I highly recommend staying in Haarlem, just half hour away. This home is highly recommended and the neighborhood is a much cleaner, tamer and friendlier Amsterdam. The city center is great with lots of good restaurants and shops and it’s all within a 10 minute walk from this charming home. As far as the hosts, Sjoerd and Judith are among the best and genuine hosts I came across with on AirBnB. Amazing and timely communication and very friendly. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 nights in the cottage. Very nice tastefully decorated and very well furnished cottage with car accessibility and parking. Gite located in a very pretty city, within walking distance and with all the necessary shops. Gite near Amsterdam (20 minutes to access a P+R) but also close to Utrecht. Perfect!

Very nice place in the heart of Amsterdam and yet nice and quiet inside. The loft has an incredibly comfortable bed while there is a very acceptable sofa bed below. There is also another solution for a smaller individual who wants to sleep alone. The kitchen is well appointed, no microwave but everything you really need. Andrew was very responsive, and the lock system works really well, giving multiple people free movement.

Really nice house and peaceful surroundings, Edam is a Hidden Gem and just 20 mins away by bus to the city centre, the host also very responsible

Beautiful houseboat in a great location and easy access to all of Amsterdam. The houseboat was warm and cosy and perfect for our short stay. Hanco is a great host

Sander's place is one of the best place that I have ever stay with Airbnb. It comfort and details can even matched the big five stars hotel brands. I will definitely choose this place again when I am in Amsterdam.For those who have not decide your choice in Amsterdam, I fully recommend this place to you.

We had the absolute best time staying at Nicolette’s beautiful home! She was so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful situated with the best river view and the town of Maarssen is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend that anyone visiting this area should stay here! Nicolette is very kind and is a wonderful and attentive host!!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Jef & Mette's house, can't recommend it highly enough. The house is so cool, it has great character and feels like it's 'not just an ordinary house'. It's a very quiet residential neighborhood and felt safe, and there are supermarkets about 200m away. The tram stop for the city centre is about 200m in the other direction, so this is a great base for easy living and exploring Amsterdam. Jef and Mette were great hosts, very communicative, and they gave clear instructions for every part of our stay. We would happily go back, and would very much recommend it.

Francine's apartment is even more beautiful than the photographs, it is equipped with everything and you really feel at home. The neighborhood is very green and quiet. It's convenient to use the metro to visit all the places in and around Amsterdam. There are various shops and a supermarket nearby. We also had a picnic at the swimmable lake near the house. Francine was always available with us, even though she was not present. He still welcomed us in person with his children, who were also very nice. I recommend this place to everyone.

We are delighted with our stay at Victor's place. The house was perfect for a large family with several generations. the description of the dwelling is as advertised. We found a lot of comfort. In addition, the house is ideally located to visit Holland. It is possible to get to Amsterdam by train because the train station is 10 minutes on foot. We recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely beautiful house in a lovely town. The house felt homely and had a gorgeous outside cabin. We went for new years and were so amazed at all the fireworks! Would definitely come again.

Beautiful and very comfortable home. Hidde made practically his entire house available to us. It has a beautiful garden that allows you to dine outdoors. Extremely quiet and peaceful area. We had a great time.
