An attractively furnished attic studio, with attached -smoke friendly roof terrace- with city views and sunrises. The attic studio is located in a calm yet hip and upcoming North part of Amsterdam. It's 10-15 minutes walking and 3 minutes with the free ferry and then you are in the buzz of Amsterdam's city centre and Central Station. The free ferry goes 24/7.
“We stayed with Kim and Daniel for 2 nights and everything is as described. The studio is well thought out and great. The roof terrace is great. The breakfast service with fresh rolls and croissants is of course great and all other things are plentiful. We got full :). Kim and Daniel are very nice and gave us a lot of information about Amsterdam. They are also super helpful. Daniel changed our defective tire and made contact with a workshop that repaired the defective tire immediately, so we could go home with peace of mind. Thanks again for that.”
This former artist's studio with bathroom takes up the third (and top) floor of my 17th century Amsterdam bell gable house.
“We stayed in Johan's house for a few days and our stay was very pleasant. The house is located in a very convenient location in the canal area and with all points of interest close at hand; at the same time the area in which it is located is quiet and far from the tourist confusion. The room is very nice, clean and equipped with everything you need; only thing to note is that it is located on the second floor of a typical Dutch house and the stairs can be uncomfortable for those who are "impractical" (for us it was not a problem). Johan was very kind and very helpful, and his “assistant” Erika was no less. We can only leave an absolutely positive review and suggest your house as a good reference for visiting Amsterdam.”
We were able to build our dream. A unique, modern and comfortable houseboat of 35 x 6 meters. We designed an independent private studio in the bow of the boat that can be your's for a few days. So you can share our experience of living the good life on the water. My husband Michael and I live on the other side of the boat.
“On the north-western edge of the center of Amsterdam this was a very inspiring holiday room on Sonja's boat. We were welcomed very nicely with fresh grapes, delicious bread and champagne in the fridge. The boat and the furnishings were exactly as in the description and the photos. We were more than happy with this choice. Especially on the hot days inland, it was a perfect choice in the fresh breeze of the harbor with clear air. From the boat we could with the provided bicycles to the neighboring districts via Westerdock and Prinsenejland to the city center . Nice neighborhoods that were not overcrowded (especially during Corona times). You notice less of the tourism here and you are more with the locals - if that is possible in Amsterdam ;-) Thank you Sonja and your husband for the great opportunity”
