A beautiful place to stay. Both Nishantha and Neranji were very kind people and made me feel right at home. Comfortable, quiet bedrooms with a beautiful balcony bit looking out onto the garden. Neranji kindly provided a delicious homemade breakfast each morning too which was always a treat to wake up to. I also had the chance to join in with a cooking class which was a lot of fun and very informative too (food was delicious). Location wise it's in a great spot that's walkable to Ella town and other amenities too. Would 100% recommend!

Clean tidy room with an adjoined hotel. Welcomes us with a coffee , and helped with the luggage as well. Helpful and warm people. Only heads up is the room might be a little small especially with luggage around , but at the price point it’s a really good stay a little away from the main city.

Everything was fantastic at Lilu’s! The place was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view. Breakfast was exceptional—truly one of the best I’ve had—and Lilu was an incredible host. She even arranged a personalized tuk-tuk tour for me to visit the waterfall, Nine Arches Bridge, tea factory, and Little Adam’s Peak. I was so impressed that I hired the same driver the next day to take me to Udawalawe. The location is within walking distance to the city center, which is super convenient—but I’d recommend bringing a flashlight if you’re walking at night, as some areas can be quite dark.

Priyanga is truly the best host we have met. She waited for us upon arrival and made sure we felt at home from the first moment. She’s so lovely helpful and caring and made our experience so special. Place is absolutely amazing! It’s clean, tidy and spacious with a balcony which has the best view in the area. Located 2 minutes from Ella city by TokTok. Highly recommend.

The view from the terrace is truely breathtaking, over a green valley and a waterfall just in front. 10 minutes walking from Ella. Great local restaurants nearby. Lots of options for hiking trips. The apartment is well equipped, even has a little fridge. The bathroom is a piece of art. The breakfast is included, fresh fruit, smoothies, pancakes with coconut filling, sandwiches, all home made. Highly recommendable place to stay, amazing value for the money.

A place in the middle of the jungle, the location is perfect – secluded and quiet, but still in just 20 minutes in the center. However, the host also arranges tuk tuk rides or scooters. Hardly any mosquitoes, which makes the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, but the absolute highlight was dinner! We looked forward to it every day – prepared with a lot of love, excellent taste and simply a pleasure. It was also always a pleasure to chat with the host and get exciting insights.

We really enjoyed our stay in our bungalow overlooking the green mountains and valley below. So pretty. Walking to town was easy and lots of great restaurants in Ella. We can thoroughly recommend Anil’s place as a perfect location for exploring and enjoying Ella.

Our stay in Ella was magical. We also owe this to this great place in a quiet location with incomparable views. We enjoyed the time very much and did most of it on foot. The place is on a mountain, less in the hustle and bustle, which was perfect for us. If you do not want to take the footpath to the city center of about 25 minutes, there is the possibility to take a tuk tuk. Communication with Aruna was flawless. A delicious breakfast is included and dinner is also available at very fair prices. The room was clean and we slept comfortably. Leaving this beautiful place was very difficult for us. If we travel to Sri Lanka again, we will definitely come back! Thank you for the hospitality.

We loved our stay at Dreamstay Ella. The place was amazing, we could see a waterfall from the balcony and several monkeys on the banana treas. Nishantha went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. He was always available and responsive. He was one of the best hosts we ever had! We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Great place and great welcome. Everything is simple in the rooms, there is nothing superfluous, clean and comfortable, and most importantly - a panoramic window, behind which there is a beautiful view of the valley and the 9 arch bridge. The owners are very friendly. For breakfast they serve their fruits, vegetables and delicious tea. It's just rubbish! Too bad we only stayed one night. I dream of returning again.

Very nice place. The room as in the photos, in front of the room hammocks and sun loungers, you can relax looking at the beautiful mountains. Ishari and her son Vaneesah are lovely, they are happy to tell you what to see. Vaneesaha picked us up from the station, gave us a great tour of Ella the next day, a day later he drove us to Udawalawe for a Safari, which he also arranged for us. Delicious breakfasts, great communication, and the best front desk guy-pee Bruno ❤️

Ajith and his family made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and the verandah and living areas were perfect for reading a book, playing cards or just taking in the stunning view! So peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here and make sure you try the Sri Lankan breakfast, it is delicious. We had a fabulous stay, thank you Ajith.

Very good place to stay, walking distance to city center, tasty brekfest and awesome view of the Mountains. Kapila is very good host and provided us with tuk tuk, as our driver could not get close, as there are some narrow streets for Bigger cars. Trully recommend staying in Kapila house and his family.

The space is truly fantastic. Very nice hospitality and special service. The place was very clean and tidy. The location is on a mountain, almost at the top. There are 3 possible ways up, a path is really very steep and exhausting. If you ask in advance which way to choose, this is not a problem. The host goes above and beyond to make sure you're okay.

We loved this place! We felt like at home immediatly because of the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. Their food is also very very good and they booked surfing lessons for us, which were 10/10.
