Treehouse vacation rentals in Ampara

The staff were so welcoming on our arrival and continued to be attentive and helpful throughout our stay, the view from our treehouse was breathtaking and awe inspiring in its beauty. The team can’t do enough for you during your stay, even helping you find the perfect spot to sit in the river rapids for a natural jacuzzi and massage….the highlight of our holiday. The quality and care in preparing the meals bordered on an art form, we’re not ones to take photos of our food….but here we took pictures of every meal…truly outstanding! If we have any criticism there is non related to the wonderful staff, however the owners should certainly look at an injection of money to update some tired features in the bathrooms, furniture and soft furnishings, that this wonderful place deserves. We love this place and we love the team that work so hard here. Thank you to you all for making our stay incredible

A fantastic stay at Lasitha’s Tree House. We loved our 2 day stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We were picked up by Dinith from Ella train which is a 5 minute Tuk-Tuk ride away. We were welcomed with a fruit cocktail and the staff carried our luggage to our tree house accommodation. The Tree House was huge and could have easily fit a family of 5 or 2 couples and 2 children as 2 double beds. There was a fantastic pebble/stone built bathroom which was roomy and totally unique. Waking up, watching monkeys swinging from the trees and literally being less than 10 metres away on our balcony was awesome and very exciting. The breakfasts were fantastic and plentiful. We had evening meals on both nights too and the home cooked food was delicious and had a great variety. One day we hope to return and would recommend

Wonderful place, Rasa is the best host!

This has been our favourite stay of Sri Lanka. Dileepa was so attentive, helpful and friendly, always there to assist. The room and balcony is beautiful with amazing views across the jungle. Don’t be put off by the distance into town - it’s so worth it for this slice of paradise. Thank you Dileepa and family!!! 🥹🤗

Wow, hard to describe the place and people in just a few words. Accommodation was fantastic, set in a wooden treehouse with every amenity you could think off. The place had a real glamping feel to it and my 3 young kids absolutely loved it. The place was fantastic but by far the best thing about it was everyone who ran it, some of the nicest and warmest people we have stayed with. We were there 3 nights and felt we were leaving our family behind, would 1000 percent stay again and recommend to everyone. Accommodation, views, food and people were truly awesome. 5 stars :) We will really miss everyone there. Loved it :)

We had a great stay, one of the really authentic places, especially when the monkeys greet you in the morning:). There is a lot of things to do around in Ella, so we never got bored :) Thank you!

A beautiful place with nice view on the forest, close to the city center. The room was big , clean and very confortable and our host was one of the best we had during our trip to sri lanka: always kind and happy to help us. I recomand this place.
