Vacation rentals with lake access in Ampara

Large property in nature by the beach (very beautiful). Tree garden with a large pool. Air conditioning in bedrooms but not in living spaces (fan). Very nice caretaker. There is a kennel with two adorable dogs. Great showers. No cook but a supermarket a few kilometers away as well as surf breaks. The only downside is the smell of the cow enclosure next to the kennel can be unpleasant at certain times of the day.

We ( family with kids & elderly parents) enjoyed our stay. The location was as described and ever more beautiful & serene than the picture. Very self sufficient cosy rooms, had all the amenities as described. The property caretaker was very friendly, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable. He went to the fish market especially for us, since we requested local fish curry for dinner. He treated us with home made sweets & savouries on New year morning. He went above & beyond to ensure my kids & elderly parents were comfortable. We enjoyed the generous portions of dinner & break fast cooked by the caretaker. Close to all the attractions in Ella. Will definitely recommend this to place to my friends & family.

This place was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. From the second you arrive its like staying with family. the beds are comfortable the rooms spacious, air con and hot water. The very low room rate made us think there would be something wrong. Quite the opposite, Bhagya should simply be charging more. The dinner the family cooked for us was incredible and to see the safari/yala at the North end of the park, away from the crowds was the best experience we could have hoped for. there's only 15 safari 4x4s in the north opposed to 300 vehicles in the south. Raise your prices Bhagya this is the best product in Sri Lanka

One of the best places we've ever stayed! Amazing combination of comfort and nature. The view of the waterfall is incredible! Silence, peace and unforgettable beauty. But also you have bathroom and everything you need. At night we laying in the tent and watched the fireflies and this is one of the best memories of our five year old child. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, the best on our trip. We regretted that we had taken only one night in this amazing place. Highly recommended!

Our stay was exceptional. wished we booked it for longer duration but it was sold out. The view in the day is fantastic. The outdoor area is amazing to relax and chill with friends and family. There is a waterfall within 10 min walk. highly recommend booking this spot.

Pepper villa is surrounded by a beautiful forest environment and river with wildlife all around. Some insects do find their way inside, we watched dazzling displays by fireflies on some evenings. Dimuthu was an amazing host and showed us around the farm pointing out the different plants and where the best swimming spots were. His parents live in the farmhouse nearby and were very kind and helped us get milk and Kurds from a local farm. There are a couple of small local shops with basic supplies and it's a short bus ride to the nearest town with more shops, cafes and ATMs. We found pepper villa a great place just to relax and well placed for longer excursions by bus, tuk tuk or train.

As soon as you walk through the gate, you feel a completely different climate. It is a beautiful piece of land that is maintained with a lot of love. All the staff are very welcoming and nice. Everyone helps and takes great care of you. We had a great time in the accommodation and enjoyed every day and every contact very much. You can observe a lot of nature and animals in the area. It's close to the next surf spot. The food that is offered is very varied and super delicious! Requests are responded to at any time. We highly recommend the place!!
