We absolutely loved our stay! The scenery is breathtaking. The fence around the property is ideal for bringing kids. We loved the hiking and beautiful views around the area. 10/10 :)

This was an amazing stay/experience. We went for our anniversary and had such a peaceful and relaxing time away from the normal routine and stresses of life. The view was absolutely amazing, whether taking it in from the hot tub or sitting out in the yard. The hot tub and home theater were nice to be able to unwind with and extremely easy to operate. Mary Catherine was a great host and always responsive and helpful. She also had so many thoughtful and wonderful things throughout the home, from a M&M dispenser and popcorn in the theater room to bottled waters/snacks and a basket of toiletries in case anything was forgotten. We can not recommend this house enough and are grateful for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

A beautiful home! Our family had a wonderful time exploring the property, taking in the incredible views, and relaxing by the outdoor firepit and hottub! It had comfortable bedrooms and a well-appointed kitchen. We booked this home based on its proximity to hiking trails, and the location did not disappoint! We also enjoyed the visits to several local breweries and farmers markets.

Our family of seven spent two nights here to have family Thanksgiving, The drive to the house is very beautiful with mountains in the distance. The house was very spacious and clean. The integrity of the farm house itself is very warm, with many of the original floors and woodwork. The game room in the basement is a plus. Morning walks down by the creek give you an opportunity to be connected to nature. Very special visit and most definitely would recommend this charming home to others. Beautiful location. House was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kids. Beds were comfortable. The bunk bed room and a large bedroom upstairs are connected and share a bathroom. Primary bedroom is on the main floor with an en suite. Older kids appreciated the two separate bedrooms in the basement close to the theater and air hockey table. Kitchen was well stocked. Be conscious of the speed limit and the neighbors.

We have stayed at Glen’s property for the past four years. It is an annual tradition we will maintain for so many reasons: amenities, location, and charm.

Had a great time staying at this cabin! Beautiful surroundings and plenty of space for our family! Had a few hiccups with the heating and front door lock during our stay but our host Shawana was great about being responsive and was very kind throughout. Also had clear instructions on operating everything and a clear check-in process. Overall, loved the peaceful family vacation in the woods!

Ive stayed at this wonderful home many times so I knew it was a treasure. However, the newest owner Gretchen really made this place even better. Clean, cozy, it has everything you need for a perfect moutain getaway. All the little touches and welcoming treats were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Can't wait to return!

What a wonderful cozy cabin. Comfy beds, nicely decorated & great amenities. We loved the wood burning stove, that really warmed up the cabin on a chilly rainy day. They had dry wood readily available for use & clear instructions on how to use the stove. The hosts went above & beyond to accommodate us as well as being kind & quick to respond. We will definitely be back for the wonderful view of the James & quality time with our family.
