Vacation rentals in Amherst County

The cottage was exactly as described. Out in the country with only cows, deer and rabbits in sight. Sunrise and sunset with the mountains in full view has my wife and I wanting to move to a location like this. All the privacy you could ask for and still within minutes of a Dollar General, gas stations, restaurants, breweries and wineries. Only 45 minutes south of Wintergreen Resort Spa (which we recommend for massages). We wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend, and that is exactly what we got. Highly recommend staying at Martha’s Cottage!

This place is incredible! Stunning property and home. The charm of the house is lovely and it was the perfect place to gather with my friend group. For years we’ve done an annual “Friendsgiving” where we rent a place in the mountains. This home accommodated the kids and our large group. The kitchen was FULLY stocked like we didn’t need to bring any cookware for our Friendsgiving meal. I was super impressed! We all cannot wait to visit again, preferably in the summer months so we can try out the pool and all the fun games in the barn.

This quirky carriage house easily accommodated our group of seven and made for a wonderful get away.

House was great and close to SVU which is where I was visiting my daughter. I had everything I needed for the week available. Quiet location.

Debbie's place made my family and I feel right at home 🏡 gorgeous country setting with modern amenities and local small businesses/breweries/wineries/cidery as well as Shenandoah National Park! would visit again 😌bonus was stargazing in the backyard 🌌

Stayed here for work for a couple weeks. Must better than crashing in a hotel. Had anything we needed to relax well after long days.

Such a cute space, my sister and I booked this cozy cottage to surprise our mum with a girls weekend and it was just what we were looking for. Especially love the neighbors! (Aka the cows) check in was wicked easy and directions to where to park were clear. I would stay here again for sure

Justin's place was easy to get to and central to our needs. The house was plenty big for our families, and rooms were nice and spacious. Would stay again if the need arises.
