Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ames

We had a great stay. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Checking in and out was easy. We’d love to stay again sometime!

This space is an oasis. It was perfect for my needs. It’s private and gorgeous. The backyard was more intimate than expected and loved the secret pathway to the gazebo/fire pit area. You can tell so much year round effort is put in for this home. It goes the extra mile! The house provided everything for us and was very clean. I love the space so much I wish I could buy it! The host is clear and committed to providing great communication. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and clean with a grocery store just 3 mins away.

The house was clean and in a great location. Close to Iowa State campus and anything you'd need while traveling. Having access to the garage for a vehicle was a nice benefit too!

Destiny's place was quite and we felt at home. I would recommend this place when you are visiting.

Lovely comfortable home. As described. Perfect for graduation. Very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and the backyard was a little oasis. The kitchen had the basics and as we didn’t cook at all was fine. There was no sugar. So if you put sweetener in your coffee be sure to bring your own. The Fareway is a short walk and we were able to go and get coffee sugar easily. Would definitely recommend this house and it’s location for events at ISU.

What a relief and joy to stay at this dog friendly home! As pet parents, we truly appreciated how well-maintained this property was for both people and pets. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable throughout, making our stay very relaxing. The neighborhood is beautiful to walk around and has bunnies all over the place! The hosts were communicative and made the entire process smooth. This is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a stress-free getaway with their canine companion. Stayed at Carl’s place for the 70.3 Ironman. He was very responsive and helped with all of my questions and was extremely generous. Very nice spacious house to fit all of the guest. No issues at all, I would definitely stay there again.

I had a great stay while in Des Moines, the apartment was very nice and had everything that I needed for my stay. Also close to restaurants within walkable distances. I recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Des Moines!

Their “guest” house is wonderful! The kitchen has everything you need. The living room couch is very comfortable. The bathroom is directly off the bed room and so is the closet for your clothes. The view out the back window is so pretty - rolling hills flowers, garden!!

We love staying in Allen’s home! So clean and comfy. We are a group of ten and had such a wonderful stay. The homemade sour dough bread was a delicious and thoughtful welcome! Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! Our kids loved sleeping in the loft and playing in the playground. It's a cute little place, perfect for what we were looking for.
