Juana's place is ideal for those looking to visit the picturesque village of La Alverca, as it is very close, allowing you to go out to the village on foot. Despite being so close, we feel in a perfectly private and charming place in a corner of nature and tranquility. I advise anyone who wants to visit the area or just spend a few days in the middle of nature!

We spent the May Day holiday with 23 people in the house. Highlight the importance of having private rooms with bathroom included for each family. Large living room, very large patio and the area below for children to play is amazing. The house has everything it needs, very well maintained and quite new apparently. One small complaint... the barbecue was gas-powered and it took a long time to cook the food. We told Isabel and she immediately sent someone to bring another newly purchased barbecue. 100% recommended to spend a few days with family or friends, the village is very quiet.

Paloma is wonderful and very kind host. Extremely helpful from the very moment we met her for check in, until the end when we checked out. The accommodation was very safe, clean and organized and met our expectations. Very nice place for getting away from city life and just relaxing on the property. Also, the surrounding areas in Candeleda are beautiful with a lot of mountainous to explore while hiking and walking around, along the river, as well as surrounding areas. A wonderful and super-equipped house (pool, BBQ, fireplace) to spend a few days in a place in the middle of the forest on the southern slope of the Sierra de Gredos. Great for groups of friends and for a large family. Angelita welcomed us and showed us the house and made everything easier. Definitely a place to come back.

Central cozy apartment on three floors with everything you can wish for. Private terrace for breakfast in the shade and the most beautiful sunset we've seen. Small cute village with amazing surroundings. The monastery in Yuste and the mountain road to Piornal was magical. Also Garganta la Olla. We spent three days at Cuca's house, we had a great time, everything was clean, the house was warm when we arrived, Toñi was super friendly and they were there for whatever you need, the sofa bed was very comfortable, it's like a good bed, we'll stay here again if we come back for sure, thank you!!

The accommodation is dreamy, very private and comfortable. It has everything the photos show and is even better in person. The jacuzzi works perfectly, the heating is perfect, it's impossible to be cold. Sandra, as the owner, is incredibly attentive. She even provided us with a bag of food so we could have dinner the night we arrived. The problem is access, the road is not very good and it is far from any supermarket to buy groceries. Congratulations Sandra on your accommodation!

The house is fine, the owners are very nice and provide you with all the help you need. I thought it was a nice touch that they had supplies in the house, such as shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, cleaning products. The village has more activity than you can expect. Good overall experience.

We traveled to Hervás for a couple of days, we loved both the accommodation and the town. We'll definitely be back to get to know it better. The hostess made our stay a lot easier. We spent three nights in the house in Sotoserrano. The house has everything needed for a large family (three bedrooms). It is very clean and tidy, and Noelia is a great host who recommended excellent daily hikes in the region. The view is beautiful, and the place is very quiet. The village is close to many trailheads in the region and other nearby villages. For those who need a strong and constant Wi-Fi connection: The network is a bit slow and not always 100% available, but you can always use cellular data as a backup. There is no actual supermarket or gas station nearby. You can use the La Alberca supermarket and gas station, but keep in mind the siesta break from 14:00 to 17:30. Bottom line – highly recommended for hikers.
