We had a lovely stay here despite dreadful weather! Ed was an amazing host, very fast at replying and great recommendations for restaurants which were all fab. House is in a lovely position and you feel very private once inside, its close to the rice paddy fields and you can walk to the beach which is a bonus. This is a lovely area with a beautiful beach but there is quite a bit of construction going on close by which is a shame. The noise didn't disturb us at all as it was up in the hills. The beach is quite wild but really lovely and has great restaurants & bars to watch the sunset. We wanted to surf but the waves wernt right here for our week but we found an amazing beach down the coast to surf so there are always options if you hire a car. Thanks Ed for a fab stay at your lovely house.

This is our second stay at this property. It is situated in a lovely area below the hilltop medieval town of Castelo de Vide. The grounds are spectacular with trees, plants, rock work and charming details. There are several exterior spaces for quiet reflection as well as dining. There are views both large and small. A rooftop terrace is perfect for morning coffee accompanied by chirping birds, the tinkling of bells from the necks of sheep grazing near by, and the sound of the fountain feeding the pool. Or for cocktails at sunset. It is heaven! The house is quite large, with ample space for gathering both indoors and out. Suzanne, the hostess, is very responsive and helpful with suggestions about places to see, local restaurants and events. We will be back.

The stay was really perfect.😊 My girlfriend and I booked the place to visit the Feira Golegã, the Lusitanofestival in Golegã. By car, it was perfect to reach from the property in 40-50 minutes, so we enjoyed the stay very much. Joanna was super friendly, welcomed us, showed us everything and gave us the best recommendations for the area so we could always eat great etc. I would come back anytime. 🫶🏻

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house, with all the amenities, namely the kitchen. The photographs exactly depict the dwelling. Very quiet place and a minute walk from the main street of the village, where you can find pharmacy, mini-market, stationery and several restaurants. Very close to wonderful beaches! Francisco was super friendly and attentive to our questions. We had an immense desire to return to this house and to be able to enjoy the pool (because of the rain we could not)! It was a fantastic weekend, with the creation of excellent memories!

Natalia’s house is beautiful, both indoors and outside. This was the ideal location to make our base to explore the Silver coast, but it could also be a wonderful retreat! The rooms are very bright and spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. We appreciated the welcome goodies. Natalia was the perfect host and extremely quick and responsive to any questions we had. Thank you Natalia for a wonderful stay!

It was wonderful! The location, the outdoor space, and the size were absolutely perfect for us. Elise was super friendly and welcoming. We felt at home right away and would gladly return to the Ethic Surf House anytime. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Susana is an excellent host, and as much as possible, quite flexible. We loved our stay, it was absolute rest. The farm has everything we need for a good stay without having to leave, so every day we stayed on the farm without leaving and enjoyed the facilities, peace and comfort. The whole house was quite clean, also with all the necessary utensils and appliances. D. Soraia was also excellent with us, very available and very friendly We absolutely recommend it and we plan to return. Thank you ☺️

Great location on the outskirts with views of nature, beautiful surroundings, nice place with several small supermarkets and a great bakery a few minutes from the property. The place itself is well equipped and very clean, the bed is very comfortable. We felt comfortable!

Stay of 5 days. Very nice accommodation with a great landscaped exterior. Top-notch pool. Very clean and spacious for our family of 4. All comfort and very well equipped. Very responsive and pleasant host. Hosted by Annibal who is very helpful and adorable. An area rich in tours and lakes set up for swimming. Very good stay even if indeed the church bells could disturb but we get used to it!

Ghanim was, together with Vera, an excellent host. Very friendly, helpful and seemed to be always on call for our questions. We had some trouble finding the location (due to Google Maps not selecting the right area, Apple Maps worked fine) and Ghanim was very helpful by sending us waypoints and screenshots of the road we had to take. Also the check-in and check-out were very flexible. The location itself is huge, beautiful, nicely decorated and all the amenities are present - from linen to appliances and fresh lemons from the tree in the garden. Morning coffees in the greenhouse were part of our main routine. Can and will absolutely recommend 🙏

The house is very well located, for those looking for a quiet stay and in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for hiking, bike riding or water sports. The house is very well maintained and has everything you need for a great stay. We'll be back for sure.

This is the house if you want to stay in the country. We were 3 generations that fit in. Nice with your own house for the young people. Large area around & pool. The host was extremely quick and accommodating to answer questions and gave such good recommendations at different restaurants and activities that we requested. Is a dog kennel nearby where there is usually a connection with them getting food. Quiet in between. Good to have a car here.

Highly recommend if you like a quieter place to stay. Lovely pool. Car highly recommended to visit the local beaches and towns.

Very quiet corner lot, amazing views, very clean spacious. Fortunately the ice cream place is not next door as many say, it is down the street, those comments almost scared me away. Do not hesitate, I would repeat!

Awesome stay in Catarina’s house. The house is really well equiped. Quiet area and a lot of things to do around.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at CASAVADIA II. It is a hidden gem in nature. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely return.
