This house was built more than a century ago with the materials of the time. Restored in 2019, respecting the construction as much as possible, committing ourselves to the space and bringing it back to life. By dedicating our time to it and pampering it with great detail, we created our home. Located in the heart of the natural park and the town of Jerez del Marquesado, with wonderful mountain views that reconnect us with nature.

This is a beautiful little newly restored farm cottage in the foothills of the Almijara mountains of Andalucia designed, furnished & decorated by a sculptor & his wife. There is a 9m long 1.2m wide & 60cm deep plunge-pool to cool off in that is set in a sunken garden, the view is to the North & the white mountain village of Frigiliana & Nerja on the coast.

The dream of an Andalusian country house

The biggest draw of the house is its location, with a stunning view of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Canales Reservoir. It is very well connected with downtown Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, only half an hour driving. Pets are allowed, but there is a €30 fee per pet not included in the reservation. Please check with the hosts.
