Great house with garden just a short walk away from the city, in the mountains. The hosts are lovely and attentive from before check-in, offering very useful information, to the end. They take care to resolve any small issues that may arise and to renovate and complete the details of the house. We had a fantastic few days

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

A charming house, spacious facilities, and a large swimming pool for spending a few days relaxing as a family. We have had a great time and hope to do it again.

This is a beautiful little house at the centre of a traditional white village. It is situated on a tiny square with a tiny hermitage opposite within walking distance of several great value bars and restaurants as well as a couple of small supermarkets. It is well located for walking etc in the nearby natural parks or trips to Cordoba and Seville (don't miss the hidden gem that is Castille de Almodovar del Rio - the real life Highgarden from Game of Thrones!). The house itself is spotlessly clean, well equipped with a lovely courtyard garden and a great rooftop space for sunbathing or relaxing in the evening. And of course the jacuzzi spa is fabulous. The way it is set out (two pairs of double bedrooms separated by the living area) would make it comfortable for two families to share if they wanted. Though there is no dedicated parking, there are several spaces in the square and if these are full (2 out of 6 nights for us) there is a large free car park at the top of the hill just 2 minutes walk away, which is hardly used. The only slight problem (We liked this!) Is that you will probably be just about the only non Spanish in the village. Be prepared to use Google translate on menus etc, and to be a focus of intense interest to the village kids! Overall, extremely highly recommended for a relaxing retreat away from it all!

The house is perfectly prepared for your enjoyment and relaxation. We went for a weekend and came back with a refreshed mind, as if we had stayed a week. From the first moment, both Luis and Reyes made it easy for us to enjoy the house and the village. As for the facilities, the indoor jacuzzi, the views from the living room window towards the patio and the very high quality of the bed are worth mentioning. It's one of the best experiences we've had with an Airbnb, we'll definitely be back.

The accommodation is excellent and the service and attention of the staff was even more so. We had a problem with a previous listing as it didn't match the photos or description, we got the money back and we found Antonio's place. We had to take another trip, they took care of us on the same day, very late and made everything very easy for us. The service was professional and very close. The accommodation is perfect and the jacuzzi is impressive, we had everything you need to heat up the jacuzzi and light the fireplace, still, there is heating in all the rooms. We were really comfortable. The village is also very nice, it eats luxury. We'll definitely be back.

A very large property, purely private for the guest. Everything completely fenced. Large pool, just right for cooling off. Everything worked out perfectly, we had a very nice time, nothing to criticize, everything was great.

If you want to disconnect and forget the world this is your place, magnificent stay in Diego's house, in the middle of nature without neighbors a luxury of place. You have everything you need to have a quiet vacation. Thank you very much to Diego and Mario for your attention.

We spent a week as a family. Large house with a large outdoor area to enjoy the pool and games. Very smooth communication with the owner. I recommend it.

In these hot days, the pool was great and the sun loungers, super comfy. Our dog also loved running around the plot and we were quiet because it was well fenced and couldn't get away and get lost. We were looking for peace of mind and we found it. The house is well equipped, and has everything you need. Finally, highlight the attention received from the host and Marianella, the person in charge of receiving us, showing us the house and explaining everything to us. We had a great time.

A house of 10. Furnished and decorated with a lot of taste but at the same time functional and comfortable. The pool is a real show. Quiet place where we were able to load batteries, enjoy a lot of the pool and our dog to enchanted state among the olive trees. The porch is a joy, having breakfast every morning there, in the shade with the breeze and the relaxation of the endless views and its olive trees is top. All in all, a 10 place to stay and 100 per 100 recommended.

We spent the weekend with friends and since before we arrived they were already giving us facilities and recommendations of how to get there and where to buy in the nearby villages. The house was impressive and was pristine with all kinds of kitchenware and equipped bathrooms. The experience was incredible, 100% recommended.

The setting of the house is very beautiful and the explosion of spring was a delight for our family. Walking in that area was very pleasant. Daniel was helpful and kind, and his house meets any needs that may arise.

We've been great. The enclave, the dining area and downstairs. Everything is very good. And Francisco was very helpful at all times. I would repeat without hesitation.

We were very comfortable. It's a very cozy house to spend a few days with your people and enjoy the pool and a good barbecue or paella. We would definitely repeat!

Rafael and his wife are very welcoming and smiling, always available if needed. This stay was beautiful! Better than in the photos, we expected it to be pretty but we were left speechless by the quiet accommodation and the beautiful view that was offered to us. no regrets about the place, no regrets about the price. Juan Antonio and Mercedes' country house has an excellent location. It is very well equipped and they left us some things that are appreciated such as coffee, milk, water, oil, salt. The village is very quiet and its people are very friendly. The hiking trails in the countryside are wonderful. The fireplace is a luxury. Very good communication.

I sincerely think this is the best Airbnb I've ever seen! Everything is perfect, well-appointed. Ana is very nice, full of good intentions. We even found beers in the fridge :) The village square is enchanting. The city of Córdoba is just 20 minutes away. Thanks for a wonderful stay during Holy Week.

We spent a month in Ana's house with two families and we had a great time. Ana was very available and responsive when we had any questions. The house is very nice, spacious and well-equipped. There is a lovely garden and a very nice little pool. The house is in the Sierra above Cordoba which is an advantage in the middle of summer because it is much less hot. I highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to be in peace and quiet and visit the city of Cordoba and its surroundings.
